I'm feelin' generous with that five.

The animation crude at best, there is a clear decline in quality over the course of episodes. The female anatomy makes no sense, the boobs are literally two Globes sitting on the female characters collarbones, its ridiculous. But I'll let that go since the premise of this storyline doesnt exactly scream "I know the touch of a woman"

i really wanted to like this story,  I usually give these animes a lot of leeway because I like OP characters. I walked into this anime mostly blind, i just knew it had my favourite trope of smart guy pretending to be average. I did not expect to be bored as much as i was.

I was skipping scenes, almost entire episodes becuz honestly you didn't need to watch them. I want to blame the fact this might just be a low budget anime, trying to base itself of a relatively good light novel but i feel in my gut its JUST as tedious.

Do i recommend this? Not unless patience of a saint.

I don't find many redeeming qualities besides the fact it does deliver with the smart guy pretending to be average. That's it.

Honestly, this is one of my favourite animes now. This anime reminds us how cruel the current society is. Our main protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokouji can see how unfair our society really is, the system is that the whole world is like a ranking system. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji attends a school called Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, the school system is based on points which can be used to buy items inside the school. The whole class efforts decide how many points are given to each individual person, of course Ayanokouji is placed in class 1-D, where all of the probelm children are placed. Ayanokouji is a stoic protagonist meaning that he shows few emotions and is likely to be hiding something from the others. Ayanokoiji is also an incredibly intelligent student, but to avoid suspicion he purposely chooses to enroll into class 1-D by getting low marks on the enrollment exam. Overall, this anime is my favourite of Summer 2017 and will probably be in my top 10 anime for some time. I recommend this anime to those who are looking for an excellent school genre anime.

I think the anime is pretty good. Would watch if there is going to be a season 2. What makes me sad is that they really don't exlain Ayanokouji's past and stuff. I give it a 10, but I am pretty sad on how he sees people as tools that he is going to use so he can win since at the end of ep 12 Horikita was thanking him and it seemed like she really ment it since she was shy, but no Ayanokouji just sees her as a tool. I know that these types of animes are not my cup of tea since I like romance animes, but it would be awesome if season 2 Ayanokouji changes is perspective on people and starts to like Horikita.

I liked it. It seems kind of generic in some aspects, but i fond it quite different than other school based anime, as the main character is my favorite kind of protagonist, (i wont spoil but he true reveal is in the last episode) and i liked the direction the plot was moving in. Definetly a must watch.

This anime was so good. It always kept me on the edge off my seat, wanted to watch more. If you like a good story with twists and characters with hidden agendas then this is your anime. The story’s ending was quite different than I had imaged. The main character Ayanokōji was sooooooooo super shady, and I love it. I recommend this anime.
