Clannad - Reviews

I liked this anime because the actualt plot isn't that bad when you pay attention to it. I do see where it doesn't make sense though, one character ends up being a ghost but some characters can see her while some can't. The characters themselves are predictable so this show isn't for anyone who is looking for a complex story. It plays on the emotions of those watching it which worked for me, I cried when I was supposed to cry :). It's a cute show when you think about it and although it tries to be complex, it doesn't accomplish that all. 

Clannad (=u=) - now Clannad looks very pretty, but this is only the first season the story is very heart warming like Kanon sad and a little bit of supernatural a few holes but they cover them very good. the two OVA spawns are very good but evil why? well it will mean that i have to spoil the anime and i don't want to do that now Season 2 that named Clannad After Story season 2 leave off season 1 but damn is it sad i cry a shit load but it's a hell of a lot better then season 1, the only thing that i hate is not how it ends just the ending ep it's still up there as a real good anime.

I've already watched Kanon (2006) and Air before this, and this is definitely the best out of the three. My opinion might change after watching the next season. I found that one of the things that really separated it from the other two shows was that it was actually pretty funny. They really improved on the humor.

The characters in the show is another strength, and it is a weakness at the same time. They aren't really original with their characters. You might be thinking you have seen these characters before. For just about every character you could name a similar character from one of the other two series. One of the biggest similarities was the mother Sanae, who was really similar to the mother in Kanon. Sanae had her terrible bread, and the mother in kanon (can't think of the name) had her deadly jam. You have your shy, and quite characters, the young and loud chracters, and the monotone characters, supernatural characters etc.. At least I can say that, in Clannad they have improved those personalities. Now that I think about it, I think Clannad was the only one that didn't have a character that repeated a certain word all the time.

The animation I thought was the best in this series. It just seemed a lot more smoother than the other two. I thought the characters looked a lot better in Clannad, but that could be I'm used the animation. I just remember when I first saw Kanon I was a little turned off by the extremely huge eyes. Now I love it.

While the whole story was interesting, and emotional. I thought Fuko's story was the best. I'm just hoping it's continued in the next series, as well as the story with Tomoya's father.

Overall, it was super special awesome!

An anime that is more than of a masterpiece. Outstanding, exceptional, wow, no words can describe Clannad itself. The drama, comedy, friendship, romance, school life, life problems, tradegies are all exceptionallly mix together in Clannad. The anime will make even the toughest man alive in this planet cry like a big old baby and hide underneath their mother's thongs and sulk for all eternity. This anime will surely change your view to life forever.

So, after watching clannad specialy after life i cried whole time from Ep-16 to Ep-21. It is one of those anime and manga which mand me cry, though i'm bit serious type person with anime emotion complex.

my thoughts for this anime JUST GO AHEAD and Try to Understand whole series and also i recommmand watch in  japanese Because It gives bit Clear emotionl touch and felling of character

It filled with School life romance, Bit Supernatural phenomenon (Diffrent Dimention), Lots of emotion (Specially in After Life ), Comedy

POINTS TO REMEMBER  WHILE WATCHING CLANNAD / AFTER-LIFE

1. Since this anime is made long ago in 2007-2008 its animation is not good in 360p-480p i think so. may be 720p is bettter, ( i watched Whole series in Blu-ray 1080p so i did'nt get feel of old animation i was not sure of anime beacuse of  art but it wins my heart when i watched it )
2. As i suggested before too, Watch in Japanese 
3. Also, i recommandad watch whole series in one go or in 2-3 partition if u keep days diffrence in watching its feel and emotion along all the episode cannot be continued
4. yea also If u are downloading First Download all ep then watch so it convenient to wach Without trouble
5. Watch Movie in last or else it will leave lots of spoiler in your mind then dont tell me in reply u did't mentioned in review
