Again, as everybody said, the Same author!!

The mc is described as evil (but is really kind and good. Has a grudge)

The 2nd mc/villain is good 

What I mean is,

Wei Wuxian = Luo bing he (everyone hates them because they are described as evil. no one really understands their true personality.)

Major similarity: Both are demon kings and everyone (except their partners) is afraid of them!!

Lan Zhan = Shen Qing Qiu (everyone likes them. Just a little difference: Shen Qing Qiu is shown evil at the start, but later when mc reborn as him, he becomes good.) (Lan Zhan is good, everybody knows it.) 

Major similarity: Both are sect leaders and highly respected!!

Both are good anime, and there should not be a condition or specific reason why you should not watch/watch one of them. If you'll stick to the plot, you will definitely LOVE them!!

Main point: Both have comedy and BL hints~

both novel was witten by the same author. Chan Shu Zijin Zhinan is also know as SAVE and was her first novel. The second one was the most famous one, you can read the manhua, watch the dongua and the live action, the last one is on netflix.

I recently found out that these two anime are based on novels that are written by the same person and it makes so much sense to me.

Both have similar BL vibes and makes you root for the characters that seem to have the most issues falling in love with one another.

Both focus on cultivation and how you treat others and how they treat you. Specifically on where your background lies from birth.

Different art styles but worth the watch!

Both have same author, also BL with one of them being oblivious for a long time before the couple finally gets together. Both deal with cultivation in Ancient China.

i agree. both are similar. animationwise shanhe jian xin is better but both story are good equally.

Both stories take place in high Eastern fantasy worlds with sect lords, mysteries about ancient artifacts, and hidden identities. 

They are also both based on BL novels and use a similar 3D animation style.

Both Chinese animation are drawn in a semi realistic 3D animation stye with bold and vibrant shading and coloring techniques. Both anime settings are in Eastern Chinese fantasy worlds with section leaders, mysteries surrounding ancient artificats, and hidden character identities. Both anime have an emphasis on fighting and martial arts. The background art for both anime are drawn in a realistic setting with vivid details.

Both are based off a novel by the same author, Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. The name for Scumbag System is The Scum Villian's Self-Saving System, and Heaven Official's Blessing is of the same name.

Return of Gods is not bl like Scumbag system but I do like the chemistry or "friendship" between the MC and the Red Head. Both are set in ancient China and focus on cultivation, both are CG. The MCs are both trying to avoid the worst case scenario and changing the themselves or others. Both have a an interesting sense of humour and you should definitely give it a try.

• The isekai'd person didn't know they can be the main character
• The transmigrator (person who got isekai'd) overworries about being killed by 'Protagonist' for standing in the protag's way of winning & forming a harem so they tried to be liked by the 'Protagonist' to avoid such fate. 
• The world system doesn't allow certain actions to be done. Sometimes these rules block their attempt to not be hated by 'protag'. If they break the rules they get punished by the system.
• Talkative gag parody humor
• 'Isekai villainess' genre but with opposite genders in the genre roles
• Fujoshi bait implied because authors are known fan of BL
• Perceived 'Protagonist' looks cute and have 'switch' vibes but mostly top
• Full version of OSTs worth listening to multiple times

I watched both and was obssessed with these series for weeks
