One year ago the pint-sized Memoru and a few hundred of her people crash landed their spaceship on Earth. They've since been living on a lake island, with only the large objects that wash ashore as their knowledge of humans. One day, young Memoru and her friends head towards the sound of beautiful music and find a huge house with an equally huge human girl inside. Memoru wants nothing more than to be this girl's friend, but she soon discovers that the girl is sick. Heartbroken, Memoru cries on her would-be friend's face, miraculously healing her - and thus their friendship begins. Together with her people, Memoru experiences life on Earth with a smile and meets plenty of new companions along the way.

In the year 2104, peace seems like a thing of the past. A mysterious terrorist organization known as Black Orchid causes chaos across the globe, and thus the elite Storm Force was created to take it down. Sam Scott, Wesley Grant, Laura Hope, James Brady and Nagisa Kisaragi make up Storm Force 9 - a group which soon finds itself right in the middle of the action. But unfortunately for mankind, Black Orchid harbors a terrible secret: its members are from an alien race that was sent to Earth to weaken the populace, so that it would not resist an impending invasion. Now, Storm Force 9 must fight not only for themselves, but for all of humanity!

The story is told through the memories of her adventures with Memoru, a tiny alien girl who lives on a nearby island. After the defeat of Big Gold at the hands of Iczer-One and Nagisa, one of her offspring, Neos Gold, returns to settle the score.
