I have been reading manga since the first came out.  I really dig everything about the manga, not the greatest ever but hit just right and when I learn about the announcement about the anime, I was super excited about the anime.  Did it live up to my expectation or to the HYPE?   At first, I was promising, it passes the 3 episode test for me, but then it went downhill from there.  I was disappointed as a manga reader, some of the fans of the manga may let this slide, but NOT ME.  There is a notable difference between how the mangaka draws and how Encourage Films animated the anime; probably at first some cannot spot the difference or be ok with the style but for me, the animated dip around the middle of the anime and it is noticeable, and I been postponing watching it how they, not butcher, but leave it the dryer overnight and be shocked how much it shrinks.  Now, do I encourage people to watch it.....No, there are better things to watch, but I do recommend checking out the manga. How does the rest of the anime compare to the animation quality?  Pretty alright, not the worst or the best.  SOUND The sound was decent, does the opening and ending going to be on my playlist? No, the opening and ending song was meh, sound quality was expected to say at least. STORY A story about Dariel that got fired from his job in the demon king and retired to the village.  The story is the same in the manga so no big difference. CHARACTERS The characters most part stay true to who there are in the manga with some change of dialogue but not that much.  Now I didn't expect one character to have that hair color but that is fine by me.  Some characters to fine good to generic, like in the manga.
