Chibits - Reviews

Wow, this is actually not as perverted as you thought it was going to be. The story line actually holds back some though not as much as I would hope. This doesn’t really tell you when this is happening; weather it is after the show or in the middle of it but it’s a bit funny none the less.

The artwork is the same as in the show, so not much to say on it. It’s bright, childish at times and yet shows a lot of detail.

The voices I have to sigh at. I don’t like how high pitched the two little bots voices are, and just couldn’t stand it. I just could not deal with to much of the sound.

Story

Sumomo and Kotoko realise Chii has left without something and proceed to chase her. It's quite funny near the end but the rest is just Sumomo screeching and being her usual irritating self.

Animation

As always with Chobits, the animation's good and the characters are colourful.

Sound

I had to watch it dubbed - never again. Awful. Music was good as usual.

Characters

Well, Sumomo and Kotoko were the main focus in this one - if you like Sumomo (as most fans do), you'll love this. It is cute to be fair, and it has Kotoko in who's always funny/adorable.

TL;DR

Is there a need for this section? Animation's nice, story's cute and sometimes funny, if you liked Chobits you'll like this spin-off.
