Without a doubt, Chibi Devi! is like the shoujo version of Beelzebub. Though Chibi Devi! is an anime aimed at young children and is about as far away from a battle manga as you can get, but both shows are about a teenager who suddenly have to take care of a demonic baby. If you like that aspect then both of these are for you.

chii chii says...

Both shows are about a person that is suddenly forced to take charge of a demon baby! Beelzebub is on the shounen side of things with action where Chibi Devi takes on the shoujo route by being pretty darn girly but if babies and the issues that surround taking care of one interests you check either of these titles out.

Both are about a teen who suddenly have to take care of a demonic baby. While Beelzebub is shounen and has action, Chibi Devil is shoujo and is overall cute.

Needless to say Beelzebub & Chibi Devi! shares the similiarity of youngster forced to raise a (devil)baby which has supernatural abilities. If you liked the cuteness and funniness of Beelzebub, Chibi Devi! will humor you more with its even cutesy! Let's witness how two kids' ordinary lives turns into not-so-ordinary lives by the (devil) babies.

Demon babies = main theme~ Beelzebub n Chibi Devi r about demon kids and teens who have to take care of them. Chibi devi is shoujo, Beelzebub was first and is the shounen one. Btw, Chibi devi's main character isnt as cool as Beelzebubs :D Teehee. and Beelzebub is funnier and more interesting. i dropped chibi devi. Oh well, if ya watched chibi devi first you shud watch beelzebub :DDD Chibi devi is so girly and awkward to me

They're both bout taking care of a baby devil/demon that essentially came out of nowhere. Although Chibi Devi! relies more on the cute aspect of childcare anime rather pln big plot points because the episodes are only a few minutes long.

Daa! Daa! Daa!

Daa! Daa! Daa!

Miyu's parents have big dreams: her mother wants to explore the universe and meet aliens, and her father wants to develop a new space shuttle. In order to accomplish their goals they decide to work at NASA; but due to their inevitably busy schedules, Miyu is sent to live with a friend of the family. On the day she arrives at her new home, her caretaker leaves on a religious pilgrimage, leaving her alone with his son Kanata. To top it off, an alien baby crashes into the house that night! The ship is too damaged to fly so the baby and his pet/baby sitter decide to live with Miyu and Kanata until help arrives, whenever that may be. How can two unrelated middle school kids learn to live together while raising a baby that insists on calling them mom and dad?

Daa! Daa! Daa! is a lot like chibi devi but instead of a devil the baby is an alien. Also the girl,Miyu lives with a boy named Kanata. There is also a weirdo catish alien that takes care of the baby,Ruu. Unlike Chibi Devi there is some comedy in this anime.

AppileyA AppileyA says...

I agree because they're both about taking care of a baby that came out of nowhere, Daa! Daa! Daa! is about Miyu taking care of an alien baby that flew into the temple she is staying at and Chibi Devi! about a girl named Honoka that while she was about to go to bed wishes not to be lonely anymore and when she wakes up the next morning the baby Mao is in her bed to her surprise. Both anime have a "Mother" and "Father" in Daa! Daa! Daa! his name being Kanata and in Chibi Devi! his name being Shin. And in both series while it not being romance its self hints that both girls and boys have feelings for eachother in each series. I loved both animes and highly reccomend.

As they share the same mangaka, it's no surprise that these two titles have a similar look and feel. Different in plot, sure, but both involve a young girl with a cute new sidekick of sorts. You'd definitely like one if you liked the other.

The story follows a kind young girl who stumbles upon a strange, but cute, child-like being and ends up taking care of it at her house. Both are short, lighthearted, and by the same creator.

Both are cute little shows with supernatural babies, childcare, not much story and an extra portion cute on top. Chibi Devi is more on the actual childcare side, while Potemayo has more *random* humor.

Very similar cute aesthetic, along with similar plots and characters. Both have little chibi children, one with devils, the other with cats.
