Warning, this review contains no major spoilers, but does contain a healthy amount of meat. The sad loser student named Kio Kazaku is in quite the predicament, one day on his way to school he suddenly wound up on a mysterious island. There he found some sort of a vessel which happened to have a beautiful pair of boobs alien named Eris inside. “I’ll stay with you forever”, she said, and they both returned to live in his house in Toudou. How nice that this OVA brought me up to speed in the first 30 seconds of its runtime, while also showing clips of what I’m about to see in the next 28 minutes: anthropomorphic girls undressing,  midget cats with Japanese signs and Kio-kun awkwardly bumping into female body parts. Quality at its finest! Don’t get me wrong, for a standalone feature, this one is brimming with plot. Whopping four plots to be exact! First we have our male lead and his harem friends playing a series of high stakes games to reclaim a DVD featuring the girls wearing bikinis and cosplay accessories. I have no doubt that at this point they’ve all seen each other naked bunch of times, but drama ensues regardless. Secondly there’s a quartet of  catgirls playing strip versions of Mahjong, poker and rock-paper-scissors. Apparently doing this will give them a deeper understanding of Earth culture. Third we have a dog lady playing chess with some robotic pooch that sits in a chair and acts like Steven Hawking. Last one is a tale featuring a legion of cat midgets playing random games between scene transitions. The whole episode is also narrated by some chick constantly breaking the fourth wall. Surely I can’t possibly spoil how all of this will end, so be ready to have your mind blown when you decide to watch the OVA. On the technical side of things, studio AIC PLUS+ delivers good visuals. The colors are vibrant, environments varied and the bishoujos have plenty to boast about. The horrible cg, while kept to a minimum, sticks out like a sore thumb, particularly during the opening sequence and some later segments in the episode. Overall there’s little to complain about the animation because clearly some effort went into the production here. The voice work is average starring high-pitched voices ranging from mildly to highly annoying. The background music rarely shines enough to be distinguished and both the OP and ED tracks are forgettable. Dare I recommend Asobi ni Iku yo! Asobi ni Oide to you, dear reader? The OVA references some events in the past so, I assume, it acts like a lost episode to the series and thus should be watched together with the main anime. As a standalone piece there is hardly anything worth getting excited about. The jiggly parts and curvy curves might keep you entertained but it’s hard to overlook the subpar story teeming with one-dimensional stereotypes. Watch it if you liked the original anime, to everyone else, your time is better spent elsewhere.
