do you like music? do you like people finding friends and letting those friends change their life? do you like...uh...anime? then you'll like both these shows!
Both anime unites people who love music as they experience the daily strugles, romance, hardships, personal growth and the wonders of friendship.
Both of these shows are about new friendships, personal growth, and beautiful music. They are relaxing stories with amazing music, and have similar vibes. Young musicians meet amd form unlikely friendships and deal with the hardships of youth and creating music. If you enjoyed one, I highly recommend the other.
They're both musical dramas focusing primarily on character growth and development with music simply being the theme by which it takes place.
This slice of life anime Kids on the Slope is very reminiscent of Carole & Tuesday for me. Maybe it had do with the young characters trying to find themselves through music or that I could relate to the characters themselves. It might have both. But depsite the two genres of music being different from one another, I love the passion and growth that each show gives to the audience. With it's steady pace of plot, likable characters & well-written backstpries for it's characters I enjoyed both of these shows greatly.

If you liked Carole & Tuesday, you'd also like Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad because they both have protagonists trying to make a name for themselves in the music industry. And they both have female characters that are pretty likeable.
Both shows feature kids trying to make it in the music world. As the characters encounter lots of obstacles and work to overcome them, they explore friendships and face personal struggles.
The dynamics of personalities the each f the characters have in both shows are very reminiscent of each other. Plus the music back drops that help tell the story of the storyline coincide as well. But overall, I liked Carol & Tuesday gave off similar vibes BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. The nostaglia was there for me.

I really think they look alike! They both have music, and sad lives ! And i really think it should be watched by both
They're both anime with a great cast of characters, awesome music, and plenty of drama thrown into the mix! In saying that, they both have their funny moments too, but be prepared for a wild rollercoaster ride of feels, especially when it comes to Nana.
Both show the challenges between two opposite female protags who both come from different backstories!

Both are anime about young musicians trying to make it to the top in unconventional ways. Both anime focus on the process of music creation and everything that goes beyond the performance.
Two fantastic shows about the music industry centered around new rising stars. Both take absurd set-ups and make it work!

Though genres are very different, I find the similarities in main characters having a dream and wanting to reach the top, as they experience hardships of life, personal growth etc. Decisions forming who you are as a person, people around you trying to get you to the top while there are corporations and other big people involved.
