I doubt there's anything more similar, Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven are both about a group of young football players and that's pretty much it. Everything is packed with overpowered techniques, and oh boy, Inazuma Eleven takes it to a hole another level.

Did i hear a goal? Yes i did and if you only watched one of these animes, Hungry Heart or Captain Tsubasa than you are missing out on the funalicious soccer matches. Loads of kicking of balls and a great story plot to boot! Most of the things involves around soccer in these 2 animes so watch em both if you are a fan of soccer!

You love soccer ? Then you can... or mayby you should watch one of this both anime series :) They are simply about soccer, the main characters love soccer and are fighting to be the best players. To stand in front of strong foes it's all about it and having fun doing it :D

Both anime are about aspiration and hard work, about "above average" skills, that the main characters have :) You can see friedship, joy and sorrow when the both teams are trying their best to achieve theire goals. You can feel the ambition from Tsubasa and Kyosuke and that's so interesting :)

When you watch both anime series you'll see that they are not the same in some aspects like in Hungry Heart you'll have more funny scenes and more "school live" elements. And of course both main characters have different personalitys, they aren't similar at all xD

Have fun wathing them :) it's worth it but a say it.. the both series are for soccer fans, there are other aspects in that you could enjoy, but mainly they are about soccer fights, fighting with more stronger enemies and so on.

It's a story about a boy freshly moved to a new town, he loves plying soccer and he finds a team the "never-winning" Kickers. When he joint the team they really where about to solve the team and then he showed up :) And then many epizodes further...

This story is very similar to Captain Tsubasa. I the beginning we have a boy with a dream... a soccer dream. Then we begin to know more about other characters from the teams but in frond of this is always our hero :) who always loves to play ball :D The hero always works hard to be the best player :)

When you watched Captain Tsubasa :) and you loved it :D then you must simply watch Ganbare! Kickers.

I reall recommend this anime ^.^

Ganbare! Kickers and Captain Tsubasa (The childhood arc) are very similar and deliver the same quality football experience. The same values of teamwork and trust are taught and it's both high quality. If you liked one, you will like the other.

Top Striker and Captain Tsubasa are very similar, although Top Striker is a bit less over the top than the other. If you want more kids playing football, then you'll be entertained with the other.

Though there are a lot of sports anime out there, Captain Tsubasa and Ookiku seem to fit especially well together. Ren in Ookiku is far more obnoxious than most characters ever, but in general the tone of both is similar: a group must rise against all odds to win their goals. Many episodes focus solely on team building and discussion of moves and such. If you liked one, try out the other.
