The Anime is definitely interesting, but it is of a genre that I presonally don't really enjoy much. I even find it kinda creepy how everyone is always so happy. They quite literally have unchanging expressions and I don't know if that's like them saving on Animation budget or if that's how everyone's faces are meant to look by default. The Anime in this genre very often present a utopia of sorts, and often these anime just make me feel a little uncomfortable. Simply not for me, though there are a few exceptions like that one Saint Isekai, but probably only because I wasn't paying enough attention in that one. Nobody is ever unhappy here, rarely are there any conflicts, no risks or realism, therefore this genre of Anime is evidently for those who dislike when the protagonist experiences any challenges or danger. It's a very calm and chill Anime overall. Because of this, I feel like this makes the Anime PERFECT for kids. But for anyone who is looking for adventure or excitement, this anime aint it.
***No spoilers*** Had the same problems with this season as i did the first, but to a even greater degree as its just repeating the same mistakes. Nothing ever goes wrong or is hard for the MC. Everything he tries he can do with little to no effort. No real training, conflict, hurdles, planning or scheming needed. He can just do it all with easy, just ....because. All you see is him doing something perfectly with easy, everyone praises him, and repeat. All the characters were empty husks that were super plain and boring, and seemed to just be there to give him that praise. The show also still lacks the ability to focus. From running a business, adventuring, crafting, experimenting, cooking, magic, taming etc etc. They try to cram to many things into a episode, at to fast of a pace, making everything seem half hearted and watered down. Even for a season it was probably to much. They needed to focus more on one thing at a time instead of jumping around so much. This could still be for you if you wanted more of the completely weightless but chill feel good vibes that season 1 offered. Even if it still happens to be a little boring, maybe even more so, but its still watchable. Also the slimes are still cool, with how they evolve and are used to different effects so that's still there as well. 6/10
Whilei felt season 2 was not as good as season 1 it still has merit. The storyline barely moved at all in the season, other than opening a second shop. There was less action. However it was still worth watching, and seems like an acceptable bridge to what I assume will be a more eventful 3rd season
