Rin and Daikichi continue their happy life together. The pair colors on fallen autumn leaves while learning about flounder, starfish, and other sea critters. Later, Daikichi does his best to make Christmas as wonderful as possible for Rin. For this new family, every season is full of happy memories.

Friendly family festival fun. The first two focus on Rin and Daikichi's relationship with most of the time is spent with the just the two of them in their home. If you watched the TV series and enjoyed it you'll definitely want to watch these specials. They are chicken soup for the soul. And you just might get some inspiration for crafts and other fun things to do. Some that require $ and others that are free.

Four five-minute episodes, a sweet twenty minutes of Rin and Daikichi. Four episodes, one for each season. Autumn of the artistic things one can do with fallen leaves. Winter and the anticipation of Christmas. Spring and the enjoyment of falling sakura pedals. A summer festival and the discovery of something called fireflies. A final emotional tribute to Usagi Drop (the anime and the manga) and the quest for Rin's bewitching smile, knowing that the sad girl you met in episode one of the series is thriving under the clueless bachelor's tender care. The animation comes at a gentle pace, pastel colors converting at closing credits to the burst of lively colors fading of a somber black, the music equally enchanting. A beautiful piece of anime, a spell-binding total of 284 minutes of Daikichi becoming more adept at this crazy thing called parenting, of Rin becoming a well-adjusted girl ready to take on the world one tiny step at a time.

I can't really say anything new about this, that isn't in my Bunny Drop review. All I can say is that, it is more Rin-chan, so I will not argue about that!
