Bungo Stray Dogs - Reviews

An addictive anime that'll always leave you wanting more. Great series and great characters, and a great way to introduce so many of the series' big characters and villains without making it feel rushed or all crammed-in.

I thought this series was actually very good! What frustrated me though, was how Atsushi acted about his powers

After reading the light novel, I see all the hype around this anime. It's very underrated and deserves more attention. This anime has introduced me to new authors and poets, it's also part of the reason I'm starting to read again. Amazing characters, amazing plot development, amazing artstyle, and just overall amazing in general. I hope this anime countinues on with a season 5. :)

Studio bones does some of these characters so dirty. For example Chuuya, my darling angel light of my life. Bones seemed to ruin his beautiful face in some of these clips and it upsets me to no end. I promise you. If you don't want to watch bsd do it anyway for the hottie hot ginger. You think he's ugly at first, we all do because studio bones made him ugly, but then you get used to it and think he's the hottest guy on the show and scream any time he comes on.

Also, not wanting to throw ships in but soukoku is so hard. Chuuya and Dazai are kind of divorced/toxic marriage and it's so SHEBEBSBSHE. Dazai (also hot) is a piece of shit but in a high, bouncing of the walls, suicidal kind of way.

Anyway soukoku dynamic is crazy and honestly so incredibly deep.

Admittedly, the only reason why I'm such a hater on this one is because it was hyped up so much. I am a big mystery and action anime watcher. People were recommending this left and right so I decided to give it a try. 

It gave me a "chainsaw man vibe" with the hopeless main character at the beginning taken in by "superiors." Unfortunately, it didn't have the great concept/theme of chainsaw man to supplement the problems with it. 

Bungo stray dogs actually made me hate it with the more characters that were introduced. There are some happy-go-lucky suicidal vibes- which really turned me off. Then they have some weird-ass characters that make it harder and harder to watch it. You're trying to get through it and march forward, but it's almost like walking in quicksand. 

Eventually I dropped it.

Not worth your time, in my opinion. Don't believe the hype.
