These two have similar charchters.. also the main charchter struggles to find her way to tell her love about her feelings. In both animes they try to show us the power of friendship and how it can change many different things. If you like seeing the main charachter develop and try to correct their mistakes .. until they reach their distiny .. you are to watch this one too.

Both blue spring ride and orange have that really similar butterfly feeling, in my opinion the storylines for both are pretty good, orange is a little bit more serious at times but is based on love obstacles, I actually watched both recently, after finishing blue ride the next day I started watching orange, orange will really get you in your feels, I recommend watching orange if you liked blue ride.

Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You

Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You

Sawako Kuronuma is just like any other high school girl who wants to make friends and be useful. The only problem is she bears a worrying resemblance to Sadako from 'The Ring!' Because of her reputation, people are not only terrified of her, but small dogs even bark in fear at her presence; in fact, the only person in school who will talk to her is the lively...

When I watched Blue Spring Ride I got the same kind of feeling as when I watched Kimi ni Todoke. Both have likeable main characters and of course drama and romance. They both touch my heart and make me cry at times. I think if you liked one you will surely like the other.

Toradora!

Toradora!

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for...

I'm recommending Toradora for only one reason- in both animes, a character is trying to overcome something inside of themself and bring down a "wall," so that they can open their heart to other people after spending most of the show looking through people instead of at them.  This is true of most love stories I suppose, but in both Toradora and Blue Spring Ride, there is a distinct moment where that character is shaken out of their slumber by someone else rather than simply overcoming their fear on their own. It's quite rare to see something that we all actively ignore and never say out loud in real life actually pointed at so much by a storyteller.  They're the lies we need to get through life and most of us actively ignore our entire lives rather than deal with.  That being said, Toradora is an inferior anime and not worth watching unless you were attracted specifically to this climax which begins around episode 16.

I truly agree with this recommendation! Blue Spring Ride and Toradora are both really great shoujo anime compacted with a bit of drama, comedy, slice of life, and definitely some romance! If you've seen either one of those anime and liked them, then I recommend watching the other because they both have the same amount of "feelings" into them. Although, those may not be good enough reasons for you to watch them. But I still recommend them nonetheless! Hope anyone who watches them likes them! :D
