Blue Spring Ride: Unwritten

I actually really like Ao Haru Ride. The only reason I've given it such a bad rating is because this OVA or episode was completely unnecessary. It consists of 90% scenes from Mabuchi and Futaba's past that we've already seen in the actual anime. The difference being that in the anime the scenes are scattered whereas in this episode it's a cohesive whole. Also, personally I feel the animation and sound having taken a step down in this episode. All in all it's not really a requirement to watch this because it doesn't add anything to the story that you don't already know. (If you watch this after watching the anime).

This anime really was beautiful. It isn't complete, but the manga finished it off beautifully. I recommend that if you watch Blue Spring Ride: Unwritten and Blue Spring Ride, then you'll definately love the manga as well!

Pretty nice prequel, cute and sad if you don't watch the main series, the animation is really good, just like the main series,VA's are good too and the characters are awesome
