Working!!

Working!!

Self-professed lover of all things small and cute, Souta Takanashi finds himself dragooned into working at the Wagnaria family restaurant by the diminutive and vivacious Poplar Taneshima. Though the pay is reasonable and the clientele polite, the high school student is often at his wits' end when dealing with the quirky staff. If the indifferent and street-tough manager, katana-carrying floor chief, and terminally weak Poplar weren't enough, Souta frequently fears for his life, as every encounter with the violently androphobic Inami ends in injury. How long can he survive before the combined stress and harm do him in?

slice of lifes workplace comedies. They both feature a cast of zany and characters that fuel the comedy with their banter and clashing personalities.

It is very similar and the characters remind me of the ones from working!!!  this is a romance aspect to this as well.

Both feature a alice of life work setting with food service. They also both rely heavily on the banter between characters for the comedic points.

Frikin loved Blend S , so when I came accross this i feel in love all over again. both super cute and have the same theme of resterant work but they both have thier own parts where they shine :3

Wokring at a cafe, protagonists learn to manage their relationships between their new coworkers, building relationships in their respective gag comedies. Both have similarly diverse casts, playing up the cuteness and miscommunications that can occur in an anime-sketch style workplace.

I dropped both, but I do agree they have a similar premise and character dynamics. Both take place in a diner setting, with interactions with the customers being regular, as well as the relationships between characters. The one thing is blend S has the otaku culture element, due to it being a themed diner. the one thing is that blend S has a 27-year-old man constantly nose bleeding and low key harassing a 16-year-old high school girl. its played up for comedy, hens why  I dropped it

Is the Order a Rabbit?

Is the Order a Rabbit?

Cocoa arrives in a new town in spring to start high school. She gets lost and pops into a coffee shop called "Rabbit House", which turns out to be where she will live. All the characters are so cute - tiny but cool Chino, soldierly Lize, gentle and Japanese Chiyo, sophisticated but down-to-earth Sharo. They are joined by Chino's class mates Maya and Megu, and a regular at the shop, Mr. Blue-Mountain Aoyama. Everything is so cute every day at Rabbit House!

Both of these series involve the characters working in a cafe and their daily lives on the job. If you like shows that are funny, light-hearted and "slice-of-life-ish", than this is a show you might like.

Littlesilverwolf Littlesilverwolf says...

Both are anime about restaurant. It shows the plain daily life of the restaurant staff.

For blend, it is more towards staff of higher age than rabbit and the staff is playing different characteristic to serve the customer. For rabbit, it is more towards staff of lower age and it shows more about the school and daily life of the restaurant staff.

Both of these animes we about the male lead falling in love with the female lead early on in the anime, just the problem is that both female leads are kind of dense to even take notice why the male leads act the way they do around just them. Throughout both animes, the male and female leads are part of a group of close friends that help with their relationship by, for example, giving the male leads some advice, he then uses the advice but ends up screwing up in a histarical way. The male leads also overreact about everything that has to do with the female leads that they like. Lastly, both male leads act similarly and the female leads kind of act similarly. too.

Both are quirky and tropey series that are endearing and fun to watch. I enjoyed both series and both are worth re-watching again and again.

Lucky Star

Lucky Star

In present day Japan, the life of a school girl is never dull. The easily-bored Konata never finds time to study because of her otaku habits, which frustrates hard-working Kagami to no end. On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

Genres are quite different, but they both seem so have very few main characters that are in the world. ( As in - if main characters go out in the world you don't see many people apart from them, or they'll be blanked out in colors (gray) ) Both are quite funny, have some romance and interesing story.

romcoms about a couple of female lead who treats others with unintentional rudeness due to lack of communication skills, and male lead with puppy personality. nearly identical chara designs too.

both have an over ten year age gap between a teenager and a 25+ dude which is pretty gross but if you're into that sorta thing then go for it i guess.
