For Colin is an immortal who cannot die and holds a heavy burden: the love of his life, Moya, was crucified in the ancient times of Rome by the conquering Marcus Octavius, and for that he will not rest until he gets his vengeance. Throughout the centuries, Colin dies and is reborn with one wish alone: to kill Marcus where he stands for destroying his reason to live. If you want a movie that resembles each other in that the lead male protagonist acts a total asshat to those around him so he can better protect them look no further than here. Munsu and MacLeod each have to be bastards to the people in their lives so they can carry out acts of vengeance and bring their own sense of societal moral justice to the lead antogonists in the movies. MacLeod has Octavius and Munsu has,... well whoever currently gets in his way(at last count 2 leaders and 1 army of goblins).

Both series main characters are very similar. Gruff and cranky strong men doing what they beileve is right. Munsu more so runs into trouble while Colin goes looking for it to get his revenge. If you enjoyed one you'll surely enjoy the other.

If you like strange worlds with people who possess great power and fights evil and unjustice then either of these shows are good choices. Both have smart, strong and well made characters at the center of the story. Not to mention very cool weapons! And the worlds they live and fight for are interesting and captivating with fascinating customs and strange creatures.

Both series are centered around a lone fighter in a world not quite like our own. The main characters fight evil and injustice with their uniqe abilities and along the way they gain more or less wanted sidekicks.

Both of these are anime set in a dystopian alternate reality.  Though they don't have a lot in common they do have similar WTF kind of endings.
