I had panned the mother series Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear since it got stale fast. No one could lay a glove on Yuna as she grew to be the ultimate champion in her virtual realm. Now, here we have the cute chibi version. The same characters, or at least four of them (and those two cute as cute can get bear cub comrades of Yuni). Think of sickenly sweet cute and you have Bear Bear Bear Kuma.
Hard to think of plot in this series. All you get are 30-second episodes. Really short shorts. And summaries are hard to come by. In a flash they're done.
Yuna explains why no one else can wear her costume (Non-Transferable).
Yuna, Fina, Shuri, and Noa enjoy pudding.
Fina and Shuri discover that they can't lift Yuna's bear-head gloves.
Noa tries to nurse Yuna from a fever, not realizing it's only Yuna's heavy costume.
The Bear House thanks Fina for cleaning it (It's really Yuna playing a joke on Fina).
No real depth to the plot, but that's because you can't do much with half a minute. It reminds me of the mini-stories we wrote for writer's workshop. Getting anywhere in one or two paragraphs can be a challenge.
As it is chibi style, the animation is not detailed, just having fun with the characters.
Think of Bear Bear Bear Kuma as the good twin to Thrice Kuma Bear, or the white sheep of a black sheep family. No monster-of-the-week concept where the monster is a wimp anyway and where's the fun in routing a wimp? Three Bear Kuma is possibly the best apology for a so-so series. Mini-blasts of cuteness can be charming.
I Love it, this anime is my top 1 most favorite anime of all time. I watched it over and over again when I get bored so relaxing it put a smile on my face can you make 2nd season of it.
