Both partially share a similar setting with a world predominantly populated by good looking women and contain a lot of fan-service on first glance. As well as comedy and gracious cleavage.

Booby and jiggly girls in feudal times and a variety of lighthearted adventures? These two titles fit like a glove.

Both shows take historical male characters and turn them into busty kick ass ladies. Very entertaining and not to be taken seriously at all.

Both main characters are sent into the past and replace the same historical figure. They use their future knowledge or technology to an advantage.

Set in the Sengoku Period with Oda Nobunaga's conquest as the focus and have a twist of almost everyone being female.

Battle Girls: Time Paradox characters are busty, while The Ambition of Oda Nobuna have loli characters.

Prujan Prujan says

It's practicly the same anime. In both there's a story of oda nobunaga, in both he is a girl, in both the main character is from the future. In both most of characters are female. The difference is some of the charaters are male in madhouse production and many of the female charcters in it are little girles

The both include action and fan service in their shows. Dog days is the less serious and more light hearted of the two. Battle girls is somewhat more serious. The anime's both share fantasy elements but the settings are different.

Both sereis contain a young person being misplaced in another world. Both series are focussed on strife, but in a lighthearted way. Battle girls is somewhat an historic event, while dog days is pure SF. If you liked one, check out the other.
