Asuza Noyama is just another 12-year-old girl in 5th grade, right? Wrong! She is known as “Azuki” to her classmates -- a nickname she was given in 1st grade, and which she absolutely hates. One day, a new student called Yuunosuke Ogasawara is transferred to her class, and when a classmate starts to tease her about her name, the new student defends her. Since the name was so unusual, it was the first that he had memorized! From that moment on, Azuki suddenly was proud of her nickname, and fell in love with Yuunosuke.
