Take Hayate the Combat Butler! add a more "interesting" premise and you have Lotte no Omocha

Please don't judge Lotte no Omocha by it's premise, it may sound suspicious but believe, unless your against Big Oppai there's nothing wrong so far...

The thing that makes these two a perfect recommendation is simple both the main characters are caring, considerate guys who go out of their way to help their young madam.

Both Astralotte and Nagi are voiced by the same seiyuu and have very similiar Tsundere personalities.

Both animes create a immense 'feel good' feeling within you without providing any complex story plots to distract you. Also I find that the style of the two animes is similiar.

The only difference I can see between the two is that Lotte no Omocha is designed for an older male audience and deals with more mature themes -as opposed to the kid-friendly Hayate-

In Conclusion don't hate Lotte cause it sounds sus, if you liked Hayate you will definitely love Lotte no Omocha. If your liking Lotte no Omocha and want to watch something else like it don't hesitate to watch Hayate.

Asura Asura says...

both main characters are suppose to be a butler and a ''toy'' if you would say both have histerical comedy, and the same age's if you like one of these you'll enjoy the other

picconiv picconiv says...

This is a no brainer, both animes are similar in both characters and humour.

Both revolve around a young man taken to work for a rich young spoiled girl that takes a strong liking to him. On top of that both main characters have a strong fatherly feeling of protectiion for the two girls.

The main differences are in the action part of the anime, Hayate offers more on that side.

Both have the cute factor and well developed stories/characters.

I strongly recommend them, despite Lotte is not yet finished at the moment I am writing this recommendation.

Soerd Soerd says...

both of these are about older men who are actually very young for their age taking care of young girls who are rich/spoiled but also really nice. if you like one watch the other and if you're a fan of tsundere or cute girls then definitely watch both.

eaper eaper says...

These series each focus around a spoiled loli growing a relationship with a butler/servant type figure (both lolis voiced by Kugimiya Rie). They mix comedy, drama, and growing up together to make series that fit very well together.

OreimoDora OreimoDora says...

Both follow the same genre where the male protagonist is brought to serve a rich and small female child.

The Familiar of Zero

The Familiar of Zero

In a world where magic is a reality, the young Louise is at the bottom of her class. Dubbed "Zero" by her classmates at Tristein Academy (due to her zero success rate for magic), Louise (along with all first year students) was charged with summoning a familiar; and instead of a cute magical creature, the familiar arrived in the form of... Saito Hiraga, a normal Japanese boy who was abruptly teleported from his own world?! Can both Louise and Saito come to terms with their new and complicated "relationship" and (more importantly) help Saito find a way home?

These series each focus on a loli tsundere living in a magical world (voiced by Kugimiya Rie) summoning a random guy from the human world and slowly growing a relationship. While the type of magic in each world is slightly different and ZnT is more action focused, they have a lot of similar themes and events throughout.

Lotte no Omocha and To love Ru have two things in common, harem and the "devil's tail they have. Lotte no Omocha is about 10 year old princess that suprisingly having a harem at her age is okay. To love Ru is a little more mature but the harem is involved with her.

The difference is Lotte no Omocha has a reverse harem.

To love Ru has the vintage harem.

Karasune Karasune says...

If you you want something short and cute, Lotte no Omocha and Dog Days should definitely be one of your options.

Both are light hearted series with similar issues. Lotte no Omocha may seem a bit more perverted based off the first episode, however the series does take a more cute, light hearted comedic path once you get passed the first episode or two.

They both involve a person summoned to a strange new world, where the summoned person becomes bonded with those who summoned him. There's also a similar conflict that these two anime share: What will happen when/if the summoned person has to go back home? Will the summoned person choose to go home or stay in the new world?

All in all, both series have a little comedy, romance and a very similiar light hearted feel to them. Dog Days revolves more around friendly battle while Lotte no Omocha deals with more relationship/romance issues, however both will leave you with a heart warming sensation.

Both Astarotte's Toy and Softenni have a very childish appeal with their overly animated styles.  Not only are the artistic works similar, their feel as the anime progresses are very similar as well - they are both lighthearted, child-like comedies.

Blonde supernatural lolis that are taken care of by nice caring young man, add oddles of fanservice and pantyshots: if you find the premise enjoyable then you will like these anime. Lotte no Omocha is what it is, with a questionable premise that will make many cringe; Dragon Crisis adds a action and an harem angle to the plot.

gos100 gos100 says...

Both shows try to find humor in questionable subject matter. Normally, descriptions like "10-year old succubus" or "perverted third graders" isn't the kind of thing you'd look for in a comedy, but they both do a good job of being funny in uncomfortable situtations. Kodomo no Jikan tends to be more serious at times, but they both seem to basically be cute stories. If you like one, you'll like the other.
