Dated, but not terrible parody. Made by the same people as, and including several references to, Patlabor. Features a very strong girl who ventures to both save the day with the cops and be an idol. But which is her heart really set on?!?!?!?

Story 6/10

Very light-weight story with no message or intrigue or suspense or... anything, really. Was probably quite funny about 20 years ago, but has lost most of its charm by now. Certainly a few laughs in there, and not a waste of time. However, perhaps there's more to be appreciated in terms of Retro-Anime Values than anything particularly good.

Animation 5/10

Pretty shit, even for the time.

Sound 4/10

Pretty shit, even for the time. The "Super Idol" songs, and all other songs in fact, suck balls. American dub is bad, Japanese dub is fine.

Characters 6/10

The characters have no time to develop, nor do they give much indication of needing it. Nevertheless, the familiar police-squad-type members are enjoyable enough and benefit from being stereotypes with prefixed personalities developed elsewhere.

Overall 6/10

One to watch if you have run out of other stuff or just want something vacantly enjoyable. Or if you've had a few beers or something. Or if you are slow.
