Hiromu Arakawa is supervising the "original DVD," which will feature "another comedy story" that takes place in the middle of the war. In the story, Gieve gives Arslan a love lesson, and the romances of Daryun, Narsus, and "that hero" are also revealed.

This was a pretty nice comedic take on the heroic legend of arslan anime.  Gieve led most of the humor, as usual. A little bit of everyone's love-life is put on display with nice stories. Hopefully they were all true. Gieve is known to stretch the truth.  Anyway, I could have done without the villains' brief love stories but they weren't terrible. A nice comedic OVA worth seeing after season 1. Overall a 7/10.
