Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest - Reviews

This anime has several good sides and also many bad sides. I liked it because I am a hardcore fan of isekai, but I think if you are not you won't like it.

In a kind of RPG-inspired world, the MC is a part of a group and at some point fall from a cliff. Actually, he didn't die, and he will struggle to get out of the dungeon, get stronger, find powerful weapons, etc.

I think the main character is rather interesting, the way he changes from a shy boy to a strong bad ass unscrupulous man. I think his romance with Yue is also interesting.

However, I think there are two many characters, which lack development, personality, and depth. I got quickly tired to try to remember who they are. Especially a girl, whom we almost never saw, and then at the last episode confesses her love to the MC... We almost didn't see this girl, and so I didn't get moved by her confession...The bunny girl also is not so interesting, neither the dragon pervert woman.

There are some funny and interesting moments, like the one where the MC meets former colleagues who are stunned by the switch of his personnality. There are all the basic scenes and flapsticks you can expect with all the girls fighting for the MC's affection (who will sleep in his room, the misunderstandings, etc.) in this kind of anime.

The OST is not special, I don't remember them actually.

There is also a rape scene, which is very surprising and unexpected in this kind of anime...

So: my recommendation is that if you are a hardcore fan of the genre go ahead, if not don't waste your time

I havent even finished this sad excuse for an anime is just so trash like the beginning was fire but as you go on its horrible so the guy is weak then gets strong by eating monsters but then he finds a vampire than continue with her than now he like 20 in 2 months than gets friendly with the vampire than they meet a bunny girl like she packing I mean i if I was him i would hit that but this dude really go turn him down for a 7yr vampire girl for a busty bunny girl then all of a sudden they find a village but dont explain how they got there like are they on the surface pr down below the ground then they go on an adventure I did not finish it because how garbage it is trust me on this one it looks god but when you watch it you'll see so bad its is 

As far as isekai tend to go? This is leaps and bounds better than the norm. Irreverant, charming, and packed with enough action to keep you interested, it does a very fine job of building that main protagonist up from literally rock bottom, and adds a very cute and fitting romantic lead. 

Not your typical harem dynamic, in that he's uninterested, and the romantic lead just makes fun of them for trying. Makes for something a bit fresh when it can be stale seeing it so often.

None of it is groundbreaking. None of it's new or different. But it certainly does it better, and with some good, small twists on the genre to make it a good watch. For my purposes? I like these kinds of shows to pass the time, so it's been a good ride, and way better than a lot of the new isekai coming out lately!

I'm never really one to even check out reviews before I watch them, so I'm glad that I've jumped into this anime without reading too much into the reviews because there were some really good episodes!

Although the story was a bit lackluster, the anime overall was pretty good. The beginning was amazing, but it turned out pretty lacking once they've exited the Labrinth. Almost all potential was lost once it finally fulfilled its "harem" tag. I will for sure be looking out for season 2 if it ever comes out!

If you're into action and harem, then watch this, but expect them to come one after the other and not all at once. 

Do not watch episode 5.5 it a recap The series is completely funny I cannot describe. How many times I found myself laughing either from absurdity or actual humor. I would recommend watching this you're able to watch it in a few hours. I mean there's nothing wasted if you do except the weekend afternoon.
