If you're looking for anime similar to Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, you might like these titles.
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic Otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction. As the Shield Hero, the weakest of the heroes, all is not as it seems. Naofumi is soon alone, penniless, and betrayed. With no one to turn to, and nowhere to run, he is left with only his shield. Now, Naofumi must rise to become the legendary Shield Hero and save the world!
Some comparisons that can be made between these two would be the evolution of the protagonists from weak to strong. In shield hero this takes longer but none the less, in both instances we see a clear power development. Another simmilarity would be the harem of girls that they collect along the journey. Characters wise they exihbit the same lack of care initially for anything as well as their deep thirst for revenge. This soon changes with the introduction of new teammates that show them that all is not evil.
MC lives in a simple modern world and then gets called into the fantasy world to be a hero and save the day. He gets F***ed over, goes into rage, gets stronger and tries to get revenge. Both MC have their own harem.
Both approach the isekai genre in a unique way by immediately having the main character betrayed and forced to survive on their own. Both main male leads have similar personalities and approaches to their problems. Both also involve a pseudo-harem as the main male lead seems to only attract outcasted females into their parties.
Arifureta seems like a budget version of Shield Hero. They both deal in isekai where the MC is sent to another world, weak, and after being shunned by their peers, finds out they have power. Shield Hero is all around a better anime, but if you enjoyed one, there is a chance you may enjoy the other.
Have you seen one of this, you must see the other two. two of the best anime made in 2019. i want a second season of both, if not will it be hell to pay hihi. LOVE them both.
Both Storys have a messed up beginning for the heroes. I was so pissed off when I got to the end of Rising of the Shield Hero, not because it sucked or had a crappy ending. It was just that good i left me needing more. Arifureta greats a similar feeling. Both are great shows and when my kids are old enough I would enjoy watching it with them.
both are about a MC loser getting summoned to a fantasy world to become a hero but end up being granted a seemingly weak primary power. To add to the humiliation of getting the "weak" power, the MC gets betrayed by someone in his close entourage. Now that the MC has reach the rock bottom and has changed his personality from an otaku to a revenge driven distrusting misantrop, the MC starts a grind journey to become OP. Then, MC frees a caged-up loli who brings back slowly his good nurtured personality.
Lonely thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a robber, he awakens to a fresh start in a fantasy realm...as a slime monster! As he acclimates to his goopy new existence, his exploits with the other monsters set off a chain of events that will change his new world forever!
MC has somewhat the same abilities in both animes. The start of both shows both have the same feel too. The MC is transported from their world to another(Even though in this anime he isn't reincarnated)
Both are very simialar. Both MC are stupidly overpowered. In both the female charcathers fall for the MC and for good reason.
Slime is better in every way but Arifureta is still an ok show. They start in a very similar situation and both MC's are OP.
They both pretty much start the same but two great shows if you like one I suspect you could like the other as well.
Both have overly powerful main characters. They both have tons of action. The story line is full of drama. Arifureta has more ecchi.
Rumor has it that, in a certain guild in the middle of nowhere, there is an extraordinary man who has climbed all the way to the Silver rank just by killing goblins. At the same guild, a priestess who's just become a new adventurer has formed her first party... and the man who ends up rescuing that party when they get into trouble is none other than the Goblin Slayer.
Both are dark fantasies but where we see the evolution of their relationship as the story progresses. Arifureta is an isekai but it feels very similar to the adventuring style of Goblin Slayer. Both also have incredible fight scenes and very likable protaganists with deep seated anger but also a longing to protect those closest to them.
I love both of this anime. have you seen one you must see both and if you havent seen anyone I say you must see both. I think goblin slayer is best in english dub and Arifureta is best japanese sub but thats me. Love and fun.
Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
Both are a dungeon crawler. Both animes are about some low skilled person going into dungeon and getting strong. Both even have the main person fall a few layers into the dungeon
Both MC have white hair, they get stronger and have their own harem. Casual Isekai, dungeons, fighting monsters and getting stronger.
"Satou," aka Ichiro Suzuki is a programmer in the middle of a death march. He was supposed to be taking a nap but somehow wakes up in another world... What lies before him is what looks like the menu screen of the game he was working before his nap. He’s at a complete beginner stage at level 1. However, he had three “Meteor Showers” which could level a whole map. Suddenly, a whole group of lizardmen appears in front of him. In order to survive, Satou uses Meteor Shower, his level jumped to 310 and he became extremely wealthy. Whether it be dream or reality, Satou’s journey was now beginning.
Weak and naive guy gets in the new fantasy RPG like world, gets to fight monsters, level up and get stronger. In first episode MC goes from little weakling to super strong. Both has harem, op MC and isekai casual stuff.
Both of these anime have too long of titles in common, and both dabble in overpowered MCs trying to fix the hidden problems of their new worlds while also juggling a bevy of buxom beauties throughout. Both are fairly standard harem isekais, and should have enough action to make them worth watching if you're into this kind of anime.
The year is 2095. Magic has been tamed as another form of technology, and the practice of magic is now a rigorous discipline. Brother and sister Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba are just about to start their first year at the renowned First Magic High School of Japan. But the school's ironclad rules mean that the brilliant Miyuki enters the prestigious Course 1, while her older brother, Tatsuya, is relegated to Course 2--and that's just the beginning of their troubles!
They seem similiar where both use technology and magic while one is in an alternate version of our worlds future and the other is just in another world.
Both have a super overpowered main male protaginist not to mention both have crazy magic and many different supporting characters/companions
In the world of Gaeabrande, Goddess Ristarte is tasked with summoning a hero to save her world. The hero, Seiya Ryuuguuin, is an OVERLY cautious hero who’s obsessed with muscle training and buying armor before setting out to deal with low level creatures. It’s simply one overly cautious mission at-a-time for this invincible hero!
Both isekai series feature an agreesively overpowered male lead who doesn't really care about saving the world that they were sucked into. Both also have a sexy female sidekick, but the attitudes and roles of Yue (Arifureta) and Ristarte (Cautious Hero) are polar opposite - Yue is a fateful and powerful companion to Hajime, while Seiya's goddess companion Ristarte acts a lot like Aqua of KonoSuba (outside of creating portals, she's pretty useless).
Welp... well, if you're probably planning to watch this, you're probably—definitely—an isekai trash like me... so quit wasting time and start watching this two shows because there's nothing more entertaining to watch than overpowered MCs just beating the hell out of people.
