If you're looking for anime similar to Aria the Scarlet Ammo, you might like these titles.
Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?
It's based around a male protagonist, then there's a girl who he befriends, whom is also a tsundere, it's also based around a school.
Same voice actor for main female and male character, same tsundere genre, strong female lead, love triangles. Toradora has more of a school setting, but the main characters living together/next door is present.
These anime are both so alike in many ways, they both feature a tsundere girl with a flat chest complex, and both characters are funny and enjoyable as well as having their own unique traits. The protagonist goes through pain from the girl in both, while also being shown kindness at times. The storylines aren't similar at all, but if you enjoy one you'll enjoy the other.
Toradora would probably be a likable anime for thoes of you who like Hidan no Aria because the seiyu of Aria and Keiichi are the same voice actresses of Taiga and Ryuuji from Toradora! Both feature a Tsundere main character followed by a Male that often gets beaten by their "Master."
wonderful tsundere romances with kick-ass heroines. Also a plus for seiyuu followers, both share the same male and female lead actors
Both anime are very similar in so many ways. While one focuses on normal highschool teens (relatively) the Hidan No Aria is more extreme with actions and explosions and shit. However though it does have action it does not have the same level of story depth, character development or complex realistic interpersonal relationships that Toradora has. Basically Toradora focused on what I mentioned above intensely while Hidan no Aria focused a bit on that, a bit on harem and a bit on action. If they dont' sound similar don't worry, just watch them and you'll see. Oh and also the Aria is a Tsundere voiced by the same VA as Taiga.
It's the same main actor than Toradora. Ryuji and taiga from toradora :) Actually i didn't finished the anime but Hidan No Aria looks a lot like Toradora, which is my fav anime in romance category.
A bitchy, abrasive tsundere main character who bosses around a boy, with comedy and school life as a backdrop? If you liked one, you'd like the other.
On Hidan no Aria, it's Toradora redone with guns.
On Toradora, it's similar because in both, the female (main) protagonist secretly starts to like the male protagonist, and with comedy along the way as well.
Sakai Yuuji thought he was a normal high school student, until one fateful day when time stopped. Watching in horror, he witnesses a monster devouring the "frozen" people around him; but luckily for Yuuji, he is saved by a sword-wielding red-headed girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze". The girl informs him that he has been dead for some time now and that his current self is merely a replacement for the human that he used be while alive. He is, she says, merely a torch whose life will come to an end when the blue flame in his chest ceases to burn. After this rude awakening, Yuuji realizes that he is able to see the flames of life in other "torches"; and after discovering that a friend of his is also a torch -- and her life is burning out faster than his – he gains the courage to live out the rest of his life with meaning. Will Yuuji be able to find his place in the world before he ceases to exist?
Both of these contain a tsundere character which fight togather with the main charcter. The main female chracters in both are voiced by the same person
Same studio did the animation, same voice actor for the main character, same tsundere type of girl that is strong, but ultimately in need of assistance from the leading male. Same concept of fighting, except Hidan no Aria has guns + katanas, and SnS is mainly sword/magic based. Romance love triangles, and action! :)
Both have a female tsundere lead and a male lead that ends up helping them.
Both have fantasy elements, action and romance.
Both series share a similar "boy meets girl" plot. The lead female characters, Shana and Aria, are your typical violent tsundere, with painfully similar personalities, and even the same seiyuu. Both series have a similar feel and are action oriented. Both are done by J.C. Staff.
Very similar, so definitely check out one if you like the other.
"Hidan no Aria" and "Shakugan no Shana" are about a guy who wanted to live a normal live, but one day they get into trouble and saved by tsundere girls. After which they becoming partners.
These two animes share several similar themes - A Tsundere main love interest, semi-fantasy, action, and a main prontagonist with a "special power". The main differences being that Hidan no Aria is much more humoristic and generous on the fan-service, and Shakugan no Shana has a deeper storyline with more focus on drama and character progression.
Both female leaders are voiced by the same person and both share the same head strong, violent nature that as the series progress, softens.
While Shakugan is longer and darker somehwhat, Aria still offers a lot of fast paced action but with guns and bombs instead of swords and magic.
If you like Shana or Aria then I recommend you watch the other since they both are good, cute animes.
I found Shakugan no Shana and Hidan no Aria very similar, because both had (in my point of wiew) very powerful and a little mysterious tsundere heroines. Both have some action going on throughout the story. Shana and Aria are both small for their age, but extremely skilled. Yuuji and Kinji seem to be normal, but as the story goes on it's clear that they aren't. Also similar in these anime are the main characters "love life", there's the tsundere girl who's a little bit shy and the boy who gets attention from one or more other girls.
For me both of them had a very similar feel.
In a world where magic is a reality, the young Louise is at the bottom of her class. Dubbed "Zero" by her classmates at Tristein Academy (due to her zero success rate for magic), Louise (along with all first year students) was charged with summoning a familiar; and instead of a cute magical creature, the familiar arrived in the form of... Saito Hiraga, a normal Japanese boy who was abruptly teleported from his own world?! Can both Louise and Saito come to terms with their new and complicated "relationship" and (more importantly) help Saito find a way home?
Same leading female voice actor. Same tsundere main character, and same studio doing the animation. Romance, love triangles, and action! :) Main characters live together in both.
The main character Aria has the same voice actor as Loise and both have similar personalities. Overpowering, demanding nobility treating others as slaves. Although the plot is very different the tsundere theme is the same.
Both include a Tsundere main character and share the same voice actress. The two anime's seem to include a very interesting, comical love plot, in which the "Master" often beats her "Familiar".
If you liked one, chances are you'll like the other. The main difference being Zero is much longer and has more resolution than Hidan no Aria (more seasons to come?). Also Zero is fantasy based while Hidan is centered around spies. Same rediculous girls and cookie-cutter protagonists, which people like me like.
Both a tsunderes, action, romance, harem, magic and so on. The characters are almost the same, Aria and Louise really look like each other, so do Siesta and Shirayuki, and Reki and Tabitha.

Soon, the "Cursed Children" were discovered: children born infected with the Gastrea virus who possess superhuman abilities. Due to the Gastrea virus' intervention, the Cursed Children could only be female. Civil Securities are formed to specialize fighting against Gastrea, operating with the pair of an Initiator, who are cursed children, and a Promoter, serving to lead the cursed children. Ten years after the war, Rentaro Satomi, a high school student and Civil Security member, and his Initator Enju Aihara, receive a secret mission to prevent Tokyo's destruction.
Have a task of protecting the city or eliminating the threat.- Fight with guns, katana, sniper and etc.- Similarities character: Tooyama Kinji = Satomi RentarouKanzaki Aria = Aihara EnjuHotogi Shirayuki = Tendou KisaraReki = Tina SproutMine Riko = Shiba Miori- Each anime have some great action and fight scene.- Each both main character have a female partner loli pink hair ponytails. (Kinji x Aria, Rentarou x Enju)
very similiar feel,
the main characters interaction is similiar
both have male and female lead
both involve guns and fantasy/sci fi skills to fight
it is just a meaning, it is like black bullet because there is a male and girl duo and have guns and swords too.
but they have a lot of boys instead of girls.
( just getting to the 100 characters minimum)
Have a problem? Talk to Otogi Bank, a student aid group that helps people get what they need – for a hefty price. Led by Liszt Kiriki and staffed by tsundere Ryouko, inventor Majolica, jealous Otohime, flirtatious Tarou, serious Alice, nervous Ryoushi and maid Otsuu, Otogi Bank assists with everything from helping break into a rival school to convincing an upperclassman to not quit a sports team. Can Otogi Bank manage to make all their clients happy, and most importantly, will Ryoushi ever manage to win Ryouko’s heart?
Both anime have a Tsundere charcter that may develope feelings for the male charcter which has special abilities.
They are both done by the same studio and share many interpersonal relationship traits. Hidan no Aria is more actiony and has a much stronger focus on both action and your typical Tsundere relationship while Ookami-san spends more time on animation and comedy. If you like one you will probably like the other. Both are great and I highly recommend them.
However I would like to mention that both leave a very open ending and have manga that are still behind the anime. So if there is a second season of either it is likely not going to be soon and the manga are not going to catch up for around another year for each.
Haruaki Yachi has seen his fair share of curses, but despite his familiarity, even Haruaki is out of his element when his father mails him a cursed torture cube with the humanoid figure of a cute young girl named Fear Kubrick (no relation). Now, he’s got to help her break her curse and leave behind her homicidal past before dangerous forces get ahold of her deadly powers. Sassy loudmouth Fear has a hard time keeping a low profile, but with the help of Haruaki’s other cursed comrades, maybe this cubed cutie can find her place in the human world - IF she can break her curse in C3!
Yes. Definitely a great way to follow up either anime, as each demonstrates fantastic action scenes, out-of-the-ordinary highschool students, and (who could forget) the ecchi element. If you watch one, watch the other.
Both animes have a certain quirky feel to them; it makes the stories flow and the characters mesh together. As in C³, Haiden no Aria boasts many exciting fights (this time with guns) as well as a similar level of romance (definitely not too much; after all, our title heroine is a Tsundere). Definate must watch!
A young man awakens in an abandoned warehouse with no memory of his past. As he leaves the room and ventures further into the warehouse he is attacked by a girl in a mask; she tells him that in order to live he must come at her with all his might. After a fight for his life, he manages to overpower the girl, learning that he is to be trained as a Phantom - an assassin for the Inferno organization. He is also given a new name: Zwei. For three months, Zwei is trained by the girl in the arts of assassination until he has just one final test: to kill a living human being.
phantom is a lot more dramatic/tragic than Hidan no Aria, phantom is about assassins rather than soldiers. that being said if you like Hidan no Aria especially the sadder back-story parts then you will love phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~
“Vash, the Stampede” - worth 60 billion dollars to the one who can turn him in. Bounty hunters everywhere are on the lookout for this legendary gunman, not to mention insurance agents Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, who are tasked with preventing any potential damage that this Vash can cause. But with 60 billion on his head, Vash is not an easy man to find.
guns+humor+woman+booze=need I say more? Well I guess I have to due to site rules. Anywho, trigun is pretty much a run and gun romantic/comedy/action anime that was really good. Although not the best one of its kind (trinity blood for example) , it was very good, and I would suggest you watch it. It runs well along the lines of hidan no aria.
Dating sim master Keima Katsuragi wants nothing more than to immerse himself in the 2D world, chasing digital girlfriends. Now, lest the explosive collar around his neck detonate, Keima must convince various girls to fall in love with him in order to scare out the souls hiding in their hearts.
Boy meets girl and then girl lives with boy. This is sort of a stretch, but they still have the same aspects of completing missions together, though there is quite more action in Aria.
In both, a strange girl meets a dorky guy and ends up needing his help. In order to keep tabs on him, she decides it's best if they live together.
If you liked one, you will like the other.
