Both shows share similar sense of humor, grinding on an edge of insanity. Voice acting also has a bit of similarity. If you liked Gintama or Arakawa, watching the other one is a sure hit

Like random characters with odd personalitys? Then both will entertain you.

Both share the same random humor ^^

Both series have similar sense of humour and are full of quirky characters. With their crazy antics, you won't get bored easily.

The amazing voice acting brings LIFE to these characters.

The Tatami Galaxy

The Tatami Galaxy

A man is miserable. Despite all his dreams of a “Rose-Colored Campus Life” filled with raven-haired maidens who dote on him, his social life is going nowhere. Arakawa Under the Bridge and The Tatami Galaxy are way more similar than one might think at first glance. First, both series tell the story of a man stuck in an odd world/setting which they can't seem to get out of, and populated by a bunch of weirdos. And then there's Maaya Sakamoto, the brilliant voice actress who plays both Nino from AUB, and Akashi-san from TTG, two somewhat similar characters in terms of personnality.

If you enjoyed one of those two great series, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll love the other.

Both series feature very quirky, entertaining characters.

Tatami Galaxy initially feels random or inconsistent, but gradually a plot line emerges. Even before that it is just wildly entertaining.

Arakawa Under the Bridge is a very feel-good sort of series.

Cromartie High School

Cromartie High School

At Cromartie High, it’s tough being a delinquent -- a fact that do-gooder Takashi Kamiyama intimately understands. When he’s not engaging in contests of strength and rival gang wars, Kamiyama can also be found submitting punny jokes and planning his own rise to fame within the delinquents’ ranks, and that’s just the beginning! With...

Their stories are completely different, the art styles are pretty different, they're both different in nearly every way; but the one thing they both have in common is their love/hate factor, mainly based on the humor, the characters and the dialogue.

They're both pretty outlandish and feature an oddball cast that can only suit their respective anime, coversations that seem pointless (Cromartie especially) and humor that only a select group would really enjoy (Others may get some laughs, but not as much).

I'm sure that if you enjoyed one, you can find some enjoyment in the other but if you disliked one, watch the other one with caution.

Both of these have a similar feel to them.  The comedy mostly stems from the "rational" protagonist who slowly accepts the outragious antics of those around him as completely normal.
