Like cute girls as naval ships? Like cute girls saving the world from supernatural forces? Like exciting naval battles. Then you will love this!
Both have the same idea of the the enemies being ships that are prevent humans from being able to use the sea. On top of this idea it also has the ideas of the only way to fight is to use girls, but instead of using ships with the appearnce of girls this series has girls fighting pretty much as ships.
Both Kan Colle and Arpeggio of Blue Steel deals with girls that are the spirits of naval vessels an alien races that have taken over the sea. Although in Arpeggio is more of a harem based show.
If you are interested in one you will probably also enjoy the other.
