Now, I haven't seen the Demonbane TV series, but Amuri strongly reminded me of watching the Demonbane OVA. Both are extremely bizarre mixes of "comedy" (sort of) and action, with mecha or robots of sorts and various sci fi battles. Each is animated in an especially strange way with weird segues and humor that often isn't funny at all. I strongly preferred the Demonbane OVA to Amuri, but you might enjoy one if you liked the other.

I thought Hanoka and at least the first episode of Amuri were utter garbage. Admittedly, Hanoka is a hell of a lot worse, but both have bad animation (Hanoka's is 100% flash, and Amuri's is bad enough to seem like flash), a weird story, some sort of weapon girl, and generally suck.

Hoshi ni Negai wo

Even though it makes zero sense, Hoshi is way WAY better than Amuri. Regardless, they reminded me of each other immediately. Both involve a girl who travels around in space, and there's little to no plot to be found. The main difference is that Hoshi's animation is fantastic. Consider it a strong rec if you've seen Amuri, and less so if you've seen Hoshi.

Orbital Era

Orbital Era

The plot takes place in the near-future on a space colony under construction. It is an action-adventure story following the lives of some young boys surviving in this peculiar environment and society as they are tossed around by fate. “The reality found in mankind's future” will be depicted through their perspective.
