Akame ga Kill! - Reviews

The series starts off well as you see the main character starts his travel into the sadistic and corrupted world. You quickly see tension as the protagonist is weak and ignorant. But within the first few episodes, the tension is lost as the character starts to settle in with the assasin group and they go off killing people. As for the story, if you don't like what you see by episode 5-7, then give this a pass because it is more of the same until the end. Not that it was bad, but it was predictable. You get the direction the show is taking, and can expect it throughout the whole series.

Animation and sound are pretty solid.

Characters were generally likable. It is easy to pick out a favorite, as all of them have a distinct personality.

If you like watching people get assasinated, this show will work for you.

So this anime rides on the feels..
I must be sadistic cause I enjoyed all the sad moments..
This anime is a result of power scaling and story that and the fact that if two strong people (relic wielders) fight one must die...

In this anime when you lose a fight it's death so I wasn't surprised that people died here and there..
The ending made me remember that the boy wasn't the main character..

I found this anime very intriguing, but I really hate how everyone dies. It's. Not. Fair.

I understand how all of these reviews are found to be dissing the anime, but they do not yet understand the beauty of people dying happy. Everyone dies, that life I'm sorry

I just completed this show and I loved it a lot . There was literally everything in these 24 episode - Action , Romance, Drama , Tragedy, Emotions , Politics , Horror , Thriller,  literally everything. When I first found it on Mal , I was a bit hesitant because a lot of people were hating it ( with mostly illogical reasons ) but for last some days , I don't know why , almost everybody was giving me suggestions to watch this , most of those are the ones which I never met before . But still I didn't start it , I was waiting then I saw a clip of esdeath, I mean I was actually noticing her in a lot of places and clips and those clips were drawing my attention to her but the last clip actually made me to start this . The 1st episode looked interesting to me so I started to watch it regularly, I mean 3-4 episodes per day because my exams were near (actually are near). After some initial episodes, when a character died which was really close to my heart , I understood that this anime is going to be a very tough one for my heart and I was right. Talking about Esdeath , when she was 1st introduced I hated her because of that weak - strong concept of her but as the story progressed I started to like her somewhat and after the last scene , I fell for her ( I was literally thinking "why does she not exist in the real world ") . So all in all she became one of my favourite waifu and this anime will always be in top 10 , atleast. 

Loved the anime but it was cut too short and changed drastically from the Manga, I was looking forward to Wave's fight with (Akame, Mein and Lubb), also to the fight of the Jeagers with wild hunt, but they were all cut from the anime disappointing, but nonetheless a good anime but the manga was waaaaaay better.
