Ikko's trials as a monk in training continue, as the story behind his mystical holy powers begins to unfold. To protect Ikko – and their decency – the nuns of his temple try in vain to stop him from using his powers – powers that have an embarrassing tendency to awaken with his lust for earthly pleasures. But though some may view them as evil, not all temples think Ikko’s powers are dangerous. Enter Kazuki Kazusano, a girl from a rival temple whose mission is to awaken Ikko’s powers at all cost, even if it means losing her clothes in the process!

I'll review Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!! one score at a time, and then sum up in the end. Story: 4/10 First of all, one must take notion of the fact, that this is an ecchi anime, which means it doesn't necessarily need a story to be a good anime. However, this anime DOES seem to strive towards the feeling of plot, which is a shame, since it really is one of those animes, where one can watch almost any episode and still understand the content (disregarding flash-backs and small episodes). The characters do enter conflicts and sort them out - evolving in the proces, but by the time a new episode starts, it's as if everything resets. Animation: 8/10 The animation is great with the traditional use of facial expressions and gimmicks . The nudity shown in the anime is beautifully drawn as well. Being an anime, there are some reused scenes to ease up the drawing burden on the cartoonists, but overall it's as good as it gets for a normal anime. Sounds: 7/10 The use of comical sounds effects may be a wee bit to much in Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!!, thus the lower score. However, the sound quality of the anime is fine and the actors and actresses do a good job. Characters: 8/10 Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!! includes all the traditional character assets that we are used to seeing in anime. Ikko is the main protagonist, but is always misunderstood. He's an apprentice monk, but finds himself training in a convent (temple for nuns) - this leads to many ecchi situations, where Ikko finds it hard to explain his presence in room filled with naked/blotted nuns. This usually leads to a good beating and a cheap-but-well-fit laugh for the viewer. Also, when Ikko is exposed to nudity, he "awakens" - a powerful beam of purification is blown outwards from Ikko, however, the strong power has a rather humorous, but unpleasant after-effect: an overly perverted monk. Apart from Ikko, there are a few characters with each their respective main-trait(s): Chitose: Mildly in love with Ikko, but mainly loving and friendly. She's usually the one to put Ikko in his place when his eyes gets fixed on other females. Yuuko: The wild and boyish nun, who succeeds in beating all the boys on all physical battlefields. Her lack of feminine appearance is a humor-starter throughout the whole anime. Haruka: A blond, sexy nun - also the one with the biggest breasts among the nuns. She seems a bit childish and playful in her actions and usually finds it immensely entertaining to flirt with Ikko, when being able to see the other nuns beat him up afterwards. Sumi: Big-titted, animal-loving nun, with the most innocent attitude of them all. Hinata: Being Sakura's little sister, she's the youngest of all the nuns. She's mostly silent and usually suffices with a "victory"-hand-gesture (commonly known as "peace" by western citizens) or a single word concerning the current situation she is in. Sakura: She's a caring sister, but sadistic person when it comes to ruling over others. She loves forcing others (mainly Ikko) to do her, or her sister's, temple chores and and is most likely the president of the school council for the sole purpose of commanding underlings. and lastly: Kazuki: Ikko's counterpart. She doesn't attend the same temple as the above-stated characters, but gets a crush on Ikko which leads to her visiting of the temple. Contrary to Chitose, Kazuki is not afraid to reveal her love to Ikko. Kazuki is the closets we get to an antagonist in the series, which is mainly because of her affection for Ikko. In attempt to reveal her feelings, she repeatedly abducts and seduces Ikko by undressing in his presence - in the attempt of "awakening" him. However, she's usually stopped in time by the nuns of the Saienji temple, led by a furious Chitose. Overall: 6,5/10 Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!! is a cute anime, with lots of ecchi content and a lot of very comical scenes that leaves the user giggling through many of the episodes. Having the main character training to become a Buddhist monk also means a few doses of Buddhist teachings for the viewer. The overall easy environment sets Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!! as a good, lay-back anime that can be watched by anyone who doesn't mind a few tits here and there, and who doesn't mind the lack of plot, but prefers short stories with themes concerning perversion, humorous misunderstandings and a bit of romance.
