Without words, I hate this series as much as I love it. All the different scenarios are not simply out of thin air, there is clear creativity and ingenuity in them. The implementation of this is also noteworthy. The Train Case and the Finale Case in particular made a much more positive impression. The rest were solid too. However, apart from the different scenarios, this work also has enormous weaknesses. The characters are mostly deterrent, unappealing and seem completely lifeless. You can hardly see them in that sense, even away from the courtroom. And if you see them, then only in terribly meaningless and monotonous stories. The exaggerated representation and reactions of the characters. It can be said that they can use shock wave-like attacks by shouting "objection". The anime / the game has very bizarre characteristics anyway. However, how some characters behave in court is sometimes extremely questionable. This will weaken most puzzles before they even get going. Among other things, the real "killer" can usually be seen immediately. The only thing waiting for in this sense is the resolution. genre There is hardly anything to note in the genre. Except for the humor.Most of the jokes in the factory barely stand out. It reminds me of something I would laugh about when I was 8 years old. It is a fairly simple childhood humor that hardly fits into the work. Especially since most characters can hardly convey the charm of jokes anyway due to their simple knitted personality. story Surprisingly, there is finally something like a main plot. Some things you can pick up from the predecessor. Apart from that, he plays something in the middle part and finale of this season. So around 9 episodes of story are relevant. The rest are some fillers you can watch. Despite that, I was happy with the 9 episodes. Implementation was satisfactory, while as I said, there weren't some characters who had to pull it down again. Animations There is hardly anything to say here. It's surprising that the characters move around here at all. In addition, one should rarely pause the videos in the work. Otherwise you see faces that you would like to forget. A lot of effort with the animation and the drawings was certainly not made here. Characters There were a few new characters for the plot here. Most of these were irrelevant and weak. Only a new character was able to arouse some interest until the end and also deliver a solid end. Apart from him and the antagonist, there was hardly anything worth mentioning here. My conclusion It hurts me. This title is not bad, it was also entertaining. Especially from the halfway point, he really got going. The first 10 episodes have almost been a disaster. If you had put more effort into the characters, this could have been a much better title.

This season is much like the first for me. If you enjoy the games, you'll likely enjoy the anime as a nice to watch recap. But because it scraps 99% of the investigations out for the anime, the characters and enjoyment are unable to reach what they are in the games.  The anime feels rushed because of the lack of investigations. You're mostly moving from case to case without knowing where they got the evidence, who these characters are, or the time and effort it takes from Phoenix/Naruhodo to fight through the justice system that is stacked against him. You can't feel fully connected to the characters, story, or really anything because of the pacing issue. I'm not sure keeping all the investigation time would be a good thing (because that's often a slog in the game), but slowing the anime down might've improved it a good deal.  The animation is beautiful though, and the sound is perfect (except some of the voice actors sound weird in the dub which is probably intentional because of the series' exaggerated and over-the-top aesthetic) with the "OBJECTION!" and "HOLD IT" sounds being perfect. The odd wind effects I could do without, but it made me laugh most of the time because I expected over the top and it surpassed my expectations.
