Accel World: Acchel World. - Reviews

I loved Accel World, but these specials mock the show, and not in a funny way. They are badly animated, have terrible story lines and not funny puns.

Accel World is an great anime, and I especially like KuroYukiHime. However, in this OVA, the chibi characters and the script ruined the whole impression of Kuroyukime, depicting her as some weird, crazy and stupid character. 

The chibi forms of this accel world specials are not what I thought it would be and I would rather have their specials in their real anime forms. Don't get me wrong, I like chibis, but I would rather they stay inanimate.

The storylines of the accel world specials are short and also has no meaning. The puns induced from the show did not make me laugh. In fact, most of the time, it has my "what?"s in almost every scene they showed.

Skip these unless you like "stupid comedy", then these might be worth the 30 mins. Also if you consider these as a standalone short series rather than related to Accel World.

Chibi artwork is cute but this adds no value and has maybe 1 or 2 slightly funny scenes briefly. It is more what I would call "stupid comedy" that might be funny because it is so stupid and the character personalities so wacky and different from their originals that it would be considered ridiculous in the first place. This has no connection beyond the chibi versions of the main characters and delivers very little enjoyment when you think about what Accel World is.

Great way too mock a show and not in a good comedic way.

Story- these specials posed little to no story and what story was there had little to no signficance.

Animation- some might enjoy these types of animation but i think it let done an anime that had quite good animation. Atleast the main character does not stick out like a sore thumb now ( See Accel World review )

Sound- Only thing I didnt have much of a problem with yet played no large role in the anime

Characters- Not much to say they still the same old characters.

only recommened to die hard fans that have to see every bit of Accel World and can not be let down not matter what is shown other than that don't watch it will ruin your great memories of the orginal. Overall 2/5
