These anime are both short and cute. Romance and relationships are the main focus of both. Tsuredure Children has longer episodes and a larger cast, while a day before us has episodes that are only two minutes long and focuses on four people, but if you enjoyed one you will probably enjoy the other.

Both series show and document the innocent anxiety before feelings are declared. Each episode is short and has a very simple story to tell, but does it in such a heartwarming way.

Both Tsuredure Children and A Day Before Us focus on mini moments of romance between some couples, in addition, both series have rather short episodes

Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You

Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You

Sawako Kuronuma is just like any other high school girl who wants to make friends and be useful. The only problem is she bears a worrying resemblance to Sadako from 'The Ring!' Because of her reputation, people are not only terrified of her, but small dogs even bark in fear at her presence; in fact, the only person in school who will talk to her is the lively class hottie, Kazehaya. As the pair spends more time together, Kazehaya slowly begins to bring Sawako out of her shell and soon their feelings for each other develop further. Though with her crippling insecurities, lack of social skills, and a series of cruel rumors and misunderstandings, it seems that Sawako's dream of a normal life won’t be quite so easy to obtain.

Both are about blossoming romantic relationships and a character has some amount of social anxiety/ineptitude, compounded by others misunderstanding them.

Honobono Log

Honobono Log

Based on Naka Fukamachi's illustration book, Fukamachi Naka Gashou Honobono Log ~Taisetsu na Kimi e~.  The anime offers hearwarming peeks at the lives of close couples and families.

Simple stories about love is what you will get from both anime. This includes meeting, falling in love, and all the sweet moments in between. Short episodes should limit the personalities and development the characters go through but they all feel very natural and realistic. They also both tend convey better emotion than most long running romance anime, in my opinion. The only thing starkly different is that Honobono Log has self-contained stories while A Day Before Us has a continuing plot.

Both shows are short episode romances. Although both are quite different in most other aspects, they have a similar mood to them and I suggest giving the other a watch.

K-On!

It's the first day of high school, and plenty of school clubs are doing their best to recruit new members. However, for ditzy Yui, none of them seem to fit the bill. However, when she accidentally signs up to join the light music club, Yui begins a hilarious adventure to become a world class guitarist! There's just one problem: she's never played the guitar before in her life! Joined by bassist Mio, drummer Ritsu and keyboardist Tsugumi, Yui and the gang will juggle their studies with buying instruments, learning how to read music and even performing in the school festival, all in the hopes of someday becoming a successful band!

Both of these are lesser-known short romance anime that I have watched in the last week.

They have elements of romance and the hardships of a relationship while also being an enjoyable watch.

Both can be watched in about half an hour or less and have short episodes that are easy to digest and enjoy, even f you don't have a lot of time.
