The first thing I have to mention about Hoshizora e Kakaru Hash is the simply stunning animation and artwork. The first thing the audience sees is running water and dam is well animated but that’s just the beginning. The way the trees seem like they have individual leaves swaying in the wind and the birds flying in the ground sky brings the whole atmosphere, surroundings and story to life with a sense of awe.

Now I look back on the story it’s your pretty standard for the harem genre with the same types of character but for some reason I was hooked, I had to watch all 12 episodes straight and I cannot put this one down even for a second. Although it felt like the episodes are drawn out (I thought 5 mins had passed) the episode suddenly finished and left me wanting more. The comedy in this anime is quite good and at times I could not contain myself and definitely had a laugh out loud moment. The story for a harem is very realistic and the circumstances which they had to relocate and settle seem believable (which is a change lol).

The characters, as mention previously, are pretty generic but I didn’t mind too much. Each character brought another aspect to the anime and where not simply there as fillers. As it is common in harem each of the love rivals gets their ‘date’ with the main character which was good because not all were the standard locations (shops, movies and amusement parks etc) but in the end the main character does make his decision on which girl he wants.

The music I thought was good and suited the anime quite well. Although I was not a big fan of the opening and ending I like them enough to appreciate them. The back ground music was great also, it did a great job of bring the realistic artwork to life and matched the location quite well.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this anime. I know some people will say that it’s just another harem anime but the execution was quite good.

I'll make one short and simple.

If you want a simple anime with simple character and predictable but decent end, then this is for you.

The entire story is simple, Kazuma and his little brother Ayumu went into the countryside where he accidentally kisses a girl unaware she's one of his classmates and afterwards a couple of girls shows up and boom you got a regular harem.

I think if you want to enjoy anime like this the timing is perfect, because back then when I watched this series, I was really looking forward in just watching a plain romance anime.

also I want to point out that despite the anime being just decent, I'm still glad that they broke up one of the cliche barries of the series, it's about the chosen girl, and you'll realize it why.

the characters are okay for me, the characters that I enjoyed the most are Ibuki, Daigo and Senka, Kazuma is okay but for some reasons he's too plain for me, true he is matured but IDK not matured enough I guess.

The animation is fine, though I would critize it for being too forgetabble and the same goes with the sound.

Overall this is just a pretty decent series with a predictable but nice end

“A Bridge to the Starry Skies” is an uninspiring anime derived from a computer game that also produced spin-off manga, art-book, internet radio show and audio CDs. High school student Kazuma Hoshino moves to a new town in rural Japan where everyone he meets is an attractive teenage girl. He quickly forms a large friendship group of such girls, most of whom he meets by falling over them. But which one will he fall in love with? Something about this ecchi/oppai romcom reminds you of “Kanon” (Toei Animation 2002) albeit there are no fantasy or supernatural elements. Doga Kobo’s 2011 harem show has a similar look and feel to it proving that there is still plenty of mileage in the old format. There is no harm in being utterly unoriginal and presenting a show with no particular story IF you can deliver with a certain panache. Do they carry it off? Well, it is entertaining enough but the whole harem/sexual innuendo thing gets pretty tiresome. None of the characters in the story have much of a memorable personality yet it is occasionally funny. It is just so pedestrian it writes itself. You get all the usual fan service material: yes, here they are at the beach, now here they are in the bath, yes, several of the girls fancy him yet the dim-witted kid seems to not notice. It is all so samey it hurts. It’s cute, let’s leave it at that.

Pretty good story. I skipped most of it though to be honest. Like this is the most I've ever skipped in an anime but it's not bad if your looking for romance.
