OK, so I don't really know what to put here...
I'm currently working so I can afford to go back to university to do a Masters in broadcasting, and I spend my free time playing poker, generally socialising, reviewing and listening to music, and recently reignited my interest in anime. But in a big way. Just wanting to find some new stuff to watch that I maybe wouldn't hear about through conventional means (i.e. I don't know anyone who is into it in any way lol)

Well the new gundam series seems to be well recieved (Gundam UC). Steins;Gate is always a great choice, even non-anime viewers who I've rec'd it to hav liked it. Shiki is new take on a vamp horror series. Then you've got something like [C] which is immensely unique but has a dichotomy of opinions. And in terms of comedy, for me there's only one, and that's SYD.
