Hello!

I'm big fan of anime, manga and all japanese stuff.

I was studying at Vilnius Academy of Arts 2006-2010 and I hoped to be a fine illiustrator in future. I still have interest in creating my own anime films (i've created some short animations already) and I'm wishing to draw and release a manga based on Baltic mythology. My biggest dream is to travel all over the world.

Now I'm studying japanology at Vilnius University. It's awesome, Veeeeeery interesting ^^

By the way I still draw in my free time, I have an art account at DeviantArt if you're interesting in seeing some of my artworks ^^ it's: http://www.yuujin.deviantart.com

Hope you'll like me and we'll become good friends :)

Maybe it is estonian that is very similar to finnish then *ponders*

I live in Sweden, so if I can afford it I might =) Or I can remember it for next year... It sure sound interesting. Maybe I could go with my mother, she used to work as a teacher in religion and is very interested in myths and history too.

And you found where to answer atlast, comment on my presentation-page, I admit that it is not that easy to find. ;)

Thanks for comment.

No Baltics and finn are completely different, only Latvians and Lithuanians speak in this specific language and have this original mythology. In our country it became very popular to go back to old pagan religion with gods such as Perkunas, Gabija, Medeina. Since christianity in our country was brought only in XII-XIII century so we have saved a lot from our ancient culture ^^.

Manga on Baltic mythologi would be so fun to read! I have been a mythology-nerd for as long as I can remember, and I have never seen anything about it. Do you share the finns Kalevala, (just asking since the languages are alike) or is it completely your own?

Lots and lots of years ago they made a series of comic books based in some of the norse edda-myths and they were a big success, so I really think you are on to something!
