Episode 1/?
Justo... read more
So you see, what happens when you bring the story of Romeo & Juliet to the era of samurais and ronins? Well picture a bit that but with men. Its an excellent drama if you like shounen-ai. A very sad story of a prohibited yet, kind love. The story has as protagonists two warriors from different clans and social status, that have a dream to finish the war and bringing a new open and peaceful era for Japan. However the issue as always is that their clans aren't very happy with each other. So it starts as a forbidden friendship that will eventually mature into prohibited love. Meanwhile the war continues... read more
First of all, if you were expecting hot lesbian sex action, this anime is defintely not for you. There's not even fanservice, or anything like that. Now that's not the reason of such a low score on this one, you see. Story Overall the story is quite dramatic and tries to be mellow and sad, almost all the time. Even the happy moments are stained of tears, and heartbreaking memories. Personally I believe is ideal for people who love to get depressed but not for me. The love scenes on the other hand are always soft, shy, dull or without passion. It's true that there's more chemistry in A-chan's and... read more
While I am a lover of supernatural and mystical things, mononoke was a an attire to me. I must confess I wasn't really sure with the animation... at first, cuz it seemed so simple or at least very realistic. Sorry, my bad but as a bishounen lover I had just an interest on the main character. Usually all the other man are disgusting and the women are very peculiar. Even then I took my chance since the first story captivated me and I kept going with the series. StoryThe stories are all amazingly well done, there's a point where you are not sure, what's reality, a flashback or just a vision produced... read more
So I was in the mood to look for a shounen ai anime... I thought... I need some love dove between men and fanservice... with a good story too. Oh an Ova... and I began to watch Angel's Feather. AnimationGuilty... the first thing I considered was the drawings, the design of character is attractive... but very cliché too. So there was a little fanservice with a shower scene, licking lips and unnecesary caresses.... BUT not a freaking kiss, neither a rape/sex scene... well maybe it really was just shounen ai... At least the battles and the fanservice were good. Story Well the story is... read more
I must say that this anime isn't recommended for people who are expecting action. Its more like a gay story, condimented with some fun parts, a bit of melodramathic fight scenes, and a lot of drama and emotions. In my country, that would be a Tv soap... but its gay so nobody would see it. I'm really sorry to say it cuz part of me liked this series (even if the manga is a bit better but much more chaotic). I'm a supporter of Mikage's and Teito's relationship. But, it doesn't improve the overall of the anime. Story Far as others see it, the story has a very interesting context. The war, the fight between... read more
So, maybe if you have seen already the sound novel this was like a sad animation. I bet Umineko lovers were expecting more and were disapointed again by Deen studios. But oh well it happens and maybe they didn't have the budget to cover every interesting detail or moment of the series. The story of course its amazing, all thanks to Ryukishi - sama's mind. The opportunity to experience love, hate, sadness and gore with a possibility of a happy ending, all while playing with mistery and fantasy makes it really enjoyable. A complete story, that can't be solved with just a season, so I'm eager for... read more
I must confess, I didn't want to see it at first, but when I saw the red night at the opening, I said, well lets give it a chance, and at first, NOTHING has sense, and it looks like another typical anime where there's a boy who likes a girl and tries to protect her from the evil, to eventually fall in the need to save humanity. So where did this turn into something better? the characters more than anything. The two principals were so typical at first //SPOILER// but when Yuka becomes obsessed for Kakeru, and not just blindly in love but at the point where you think she is a really perturbated... read more
Starting from the moment we see Kujo learning from the magic and folklore of the european culture, suffering the prejudice of his classmates, we can perfectly see the problems on the world they're living. Myths, legends and fears are the menu for the postwar world, where prejudice makes the people stay on the edge of war on every corner. The world full of darkness and mysteries involves Kujo and Victorique to find the light. The story is great, not only because of Victorique's elegant way to solve the mysteries but how the mysteries itselves threads into a magnificent play full of riddles. On... read more
I haven't laugh as much as this time. Warnings this anime may... no definetely contains typical an unoriginal anime scenes... but still they are fully well done. I even shed tears of laugh since the beginning .Story The story is way too simple but consistent and almost every character has an interesting background ( a moving past or a very funny present situation). All the jokes are a little fantastic but really funny. Animation Nothing new, the designs are way cute and very fluid. A lot of fanservice shots for our Voyeur friend.SoundThe soundtrack is very typical and the voices ideal for... read more
