Hai! I love Railgun... Made me sad when I had no more episodes :(

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to respond.  I'm sorry if you felt you had to say the same thing to me that you've said a hundred times.  I want to let you know that even if you don't respect my opinion and beliefs, I respect yours.  Again, thank for your time.

No offence, but your need to impose your views on other people is just as bad as mormons who follow people on the street. You seem to be someone who is very bitter and frustrated with the world. There's beauty out there. You just need to look for it instead of seeking out the negatives.

I decided to read your review of Bakuman because it was the second lowest rating of the anime and I'm watching it and still not sure what I think.  I was turned off by the way you attacked certain points of the plot, especially since those are obvious tenants of the story line from episode one.  However, I did see your point, so I decided to compare our lists to see where we line up in terms of similar tastes.

I noticed a few things.  First you dropped shows part way through that you rated at above 3 stars; this is totally confusing, if you liked it enough to rate it that high, why did you drop it.  Second, based on some of your other ratings, I'm trying to figure out what you didn't like about Clannad and Kanon that you dropped them.  It's just my personal curiousity in this area; I'm sure my list might not make so much sense to people either.

One last thing I must say, which is actually what really prompted me to post a comment.  My curiousity lead me to look at your home page and read your bio.  I have to say that I don't appreciate you implying that believing in God or any higher power for that matter is an absurdity.  I am Catholic, but if you read my bio, you will notice that's not the first thing I mention; in fact I don't mention it at all.  More importantly, I could care less if you knock religion as an institution, sometimes I don't like it either.  However, you need to understand and differentiate between a person's individual faith and religious institutions.  Also, unless someone's personal faith commands them to. I don't know, commit hate crimes or acts of terrorism or something really horrible, you should be TOLERANT of other people's personal beliefs.

Notice how not even once have I said anything negative about your belief that God probably doesn't exist.  I have not implied that your belief is absurd.  The idea of not believing in God is personally hard for me to wrap my mind around, but that is a personal issue for me, I still accept that there are people, like you, who don't believe as I do.  People who believe in God, or any higher power, and people who don't are at an impass.  You can say, "Show me hard scientific proof that God exists."  And I can counter with, "Show me proof that He doesn't."  Neither of us can meet each other's expectation for a rigorous enough proof to be satisfied.

So, I don't knock your beliefs, and I would greatly appreciated it if you not knock mine.  Like I said, verbally attack religious institutions if you want, verbally attack the Roman Catholic Church for all I care, but please, don't imply that belief in God is absurd and that I am some sort of feeble minded person for choosing to believe.

Thank you for listening.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Yes, they are useful. It's always better to know someone else's opinion. I truly appreciate it. Of course, I can't share a lot of your views (for example Oreimo). But everyone likes something else.
