My name's Jodi.  I'm 21 year old female who lives in Dundee, Scotland.  

I live with my boyfriend, Dale, in a small one bedroom flat.

I enjoy anime and manga, obviously haha, but I also enjoy other things such as videogames, books and TV shows.

My favourite anime are: Chrno Crusade, Nana, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Hellsing, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura.  I really enjoy the genre magical girl although it has many, many flaws and I wish the genre would see more love especially the older series I would like to see subbed into English (I look at you Correcter Yui and Persia!)

My rating system is based on my enjoyment of a show.  Just because I've given a show 5/5 does not by far make it a masterpiece just makes it a show I really, really enjoyed and have rewatched/would like to rewatch somewhere in the future.

I'm not a big fan of sports or shoujo-ai genre.  Sports does not appeal to me and shoujo-ai has let me down to many times (I look at your Strawberry Panic!) I am willing to go outside my comfort zone though as I don't really like restricting myself to certain genres.  I like to be diverse and try and watch abit of every genre as I do like being pleasently surprised when I go into something thinking I won't enjoy it and end up loving it.

Please don't recommend anything to me unless I ask for some.  I'm not being rude/stuck up by saying this it's just a case of me wanting to watch alot already and I always feel bad when someone recommends a show to me that I know I just won't get round to and/or will take forever to get round to.

My dropped list is huge, I know.  I wouldn't say I'm picky just I'd rather not waste my time watching stuff I'm obviously bored with or not enjoying. I wish I had learned this lesson early on in my anime stage would have saved me alot of time.
