I'm a 16 y old from Sweden, started to watch anime in the fall of 2007, and ever since I've been hooked.
I do not consider myself a hardcore anime watcher by any means, but I do watch my fair share of anime. My watching times per day varies alot- depending on my interest of the animes on my agenda. When I watch an anime that really gets me captured I might put myself into my 16hr anime-marathon while the usual amount of anime I watch per day is 'round one to two hours.
I have quite a varied taste after a half year of anime watching and I've come to realize how little genre matters to me. If the anime is good in what it's doing then I'll probably like it.
Anime has brought me a lot of things, really. I've come to like things I had never thought would've been possible for me to like before. I've come to see value in things judging by what they are, and not by my preferences.

There are a few anime characters where man-love is perfectly acceptable in ordinary society. Reinhard and Yang being two of them. I was slightly more adoring of Reinhard because he was the one doign the conquering, and Yang was a little too perfect. But in the end, when I got to episode 82... man, that got me! We all had a very active discussion in the LOTGH thread, you might be able to find my initial reaction to that episode in there still.

Hell yeah! Took me a while, but I finally decided it should be in my Top 5 as well. It just is that stupendous. I wish I'd thought to write a review for it, but I could never put its greatness into words. I'm also pimping its best characters in my sig. ^_^

I have been exactly the same lately. I have not even seen an anime episode in like two months!!! 0.0 My life has been busy with getting out of college, moving, and looking for a job. Just like you I hope that things will start to settle down soon
