Before I watched this I expected another amazing Studio Ghibli film with gorgeous animation and meaningful stories. I got what I exactly was expecting on that front and also a whole lot more. Although it was said to be sad, sad is definetly not a term to be used lightly when reffering to this movie. Try utterly heart-wrentching instead. I was crying 10 minutes into it and didn't stop until the movie was over. It was absouletly beautiful. What made it so beautiful though? Where to begin.
