This anime is fun. Period. I missed it when growing up and decided I needed to go back and see what all the fuss was about. Turns out this anime is great. It captures that sense of heroic glory every kid wants growing up. The story is basically a man comes into possession of a ship and is for searching goes on a huge treasure hunt.
The animation is kinda old (it is currently 2012) but it still looks good and gets a little better after episode 13. The music is a lot of. It fits the feel of the anime very well. The english voices are actually pretty enjoyable and I love when Melfina sings the opening in English even though it is pretty flat.
There are a lot of characters that they meet and never see again. Kinda sad. All that work and then gone. The majority of the crew is likable, I'll leave it at that.
This anime is a lot of fun. Watch it.
