There is no story. That's why this show was so great to me. I wasn't constrained by any sort of requirement to care. The humor made me laugh damn near every time, and I often laughed hard. THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A GAG ANIME, SO RATE IT LIKE ONE. You can't use the same rating process for a drama as you would a comedy. Quit it. In my opinion, this anime is just as funny as Gintama, possibly more. That's it and that's all.
See full reviewI know I'm being extremely harsh, but you don't make such drastic u-turns on a show. You don't change a characters mannerisms to fit the story, and you certainly **spoiler** don't end the show where NO ONE is happy. This show should have ended with one couple actually being happy about it. Quite the dramatic and unfavorable end. I am powerfully grateful that season 1 and season 2 are separated. Stick to only watching season 1, because season 2 holds nothing good. The animation was still good though. so cheers to that.

You cannot fake the hatred I feel for Makoto without some well done writing behind it. Story. 8/10. This is not your normal High School life fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after. It's more true to life, more humanistic, than most anime's I have ever seen. While the first few episodes are A) quite boring, and B) very typical of high school anime romances, it quickly devolves into a horrid, realistic look into the pains of high... See full review
