“All right, let’s do this!”
“Sure. Let’s go.”
“Would you cut it out and start already?”
Lucky Star, for me, is at the same lines as The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, or maybe even better. Being produced by the same company, one can easily find the similarities.
Looking at the plot, Lucky star has no plot. It is a mixture of random, unorganized episodes. There is no story, yet, the entertainment is strong. The genres are highly valued and are, perhaps, the best point in Lucky star. Kyoto animation has once again shown brilliant talent; a short, yet, cute anime.
Focusing on Lucky Star’s soundtracks, I have to say that it is ‘pure entertainment’. The opening is marvelous. The endings are nice. The OST’s fit perfectly for an anime like Lucky Star. A job well done!
A very cute, soft anime - Lucky star has the same colors as of Haruhi Suzumiya. Wonderfully choreography and professional character designs have led me in awarding it a 9.5.
The characters, except Konata and Kagami, were pretty common, ordinary and in a way ‘overused’. The cute, gullible Tsukasa is in almost every anime with just a different name. Miyuki drastically resembles Mikuru Asahina, except the fact that Mikuru is A LOT more annoying. Kyoto animation seems to be out of character profiles.
Lucky Star is an awesome anime with lovable parody and fun. A must watch anime for all PG users! =D Four stars!
