Blue Lock

The characters journey and the story are very well done. Their emotions feel real and none of the characters had me wishing they'd be eliminated; so when they were it hit perfectly. The CGI is the worst part of the show, its clunky and stands out like a sore thumb. The art and character desgin are great but the show relies too heavily on still shots with camera and particle tricks. This was probably due to the longer format of 24 eps with essentially a 12 eps budget. The animation does shine when it counts but if youre not engaged in the story it can be show ruining. Overall, I enjoyed this season and... See full review

Ranking of Kings

A cute little tale of chasing goals, making friends and forgiviness! The animation reminds me of classic cartoons and makes me feel like a kid agian. I highly recommend this anime if you are looking for something lighter but with that hit of drama!

Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs

Jun 29, 2022

I liked that we spent time with him before he was Isekai'd and I liked a lot of the story hooks. That being said, its a little too meh about everything. Even when the MC is in danger, it doesn't feel like it; so when he does turn the tide it doesn't have any real impact.      As I only watched this for the Spring Challenge, I wasn't mad about watching it. It was relaxing and fun! It just felt dated; too many good Isekai animes to compare it too. 4

Dorohedoro

I absolutely hate the animation. CGI is becoming a crutch for fast production and this anime personifies this. The characters are stiff and clunky. The worlds are interesting; I like the concept of the show I just think it wasnt executed well. The characters are a little one note and dull until Ebisu starts animating. They try to build mystery but the reveals lack payoff and the whole season felt unsatisfying. All in all, if you like blood and violence this is the show for you. Its weird and funny but lacks substance. I wanna see if this show gets better but it'll definetly by at the end of my list.

Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld: Part II

Mar 2, 2021

The SAO series has been amazing, with a small dip with GGO, and Alicization and WoUpt1 were no exception! War of Underworld part 2 failed hard! Maybe I had high expectiations but it feels like a typical anime movie were they abandon the rules and bring in cameos for a cheap pop. The characters feel so wooden and rehashed and wasted moments that at now real point do you get invested. Essentially, they backed themselves into a corner giving the main trio god powers and needing a full season of story. So out the gate they nerf Sinnon and poor Leafa doesnt even get a cool entrance, but instead gets a very... See full review

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma

Sep 4, 2015

I'm as addictied to this show as the writers must be to food! While the foodgasms are graphic at times they portrey my love of food in ways I could never vocalize! I love the over exaggerated emotions animation and how much this show makes me laugh (and I mean loudly). This show was way outta left field for me and I'm very glad I gave it a chance! Special thanks to Giuzzys Cosplay! If not for her Mito "Meat Master" costume I dont know if I would have ever learned about this show; so follow her on FB & DeviantArt!
