The Embalmer is a dark yet somehow delightful look at a young man put in a difficult position; he is an embalmer, an occupation frowned upon in Japan. We read as he handles various deaths and helps restore dignity back to the lost souls - not to mention a great deal of character development with he himself. The Embalmer is a visual treat to look at, and overall is definitely worth a read.
