My experiences with anime and manga began in the sixth grade when my then-biffle handed me a copy of Shonen Jump 7. I completely fell in love with the art, the styles of storytelling, the culture, the action, and the emotion. From that moment on, many afternoons were spent at the mall ogling the manga for sale, and many evenings were spent watching anime recorded from Adult Swim (back in the years when AS had good anime) via VHS the previous night. Ah, those were the times, eh? XD
The only manga series I've ever felt compelled to purchase every volume of was Love Hina. The first time I looked at one I felt so compelled by the egregious silliness, the perversion, and the romance. It is definitely my favorite manga, although I felt that its companion anime did not do it justice.
Now that I'm here at Anime-Planet.com I want to expand my reach and view all kinds of anime in all kinds of genres that I've never seen before! I'm extremely drawn to horror anime, I loved High School of the Dead and I'm loving Hell Girl now. I also love silly romance anime especially those with shamelessly exploitative fanservice included :D This is why I loved Gokujyo, even though it has such bad reviews here o_o;; I know, I'll go write a good review for it now :D TTYL!
