Faith, love and comedy!

I have just finished watching this splendid anime called Kaichou wa Maid-sama!.

It is revolving around the student council's president of Seika High School, which was once an all boys school, but with Misaki Ayuzawa as the new president, the school is now a co-ed school. The girl population of Seika high is still very low, but with Misaki Ayuzawa as the president, who by the way hates boys, this is something she wants to change.

After serious training and studying she became the first female student council president of the school. Now Misaki has build a reputation among the male students as an uptight male hating feminist.

With this tough school life you would think she had a decent job, right? But the truth is that she is actually working part time at a maid café so that she can support her family, who was left with a huge debt after their father disappeared. This job is something she likes, but it's still too embarrassing to tell anyone about it. Unfortunately for her the most popular guy at discovers her. Is he going to tell the whole school?

I really felt the characters emotions coming through in this anime. Personally, romance/comedy animes are one of my favorites. And this one really gets through. I like how it can be a fun moment and then suddenly it's all serious, and suddenly we are back to fun. Now this might seem like an anime with a bad ending, but I loved the ending. I really can't come into anything negative about it, besides the add of a second character really late in the anime. His side of the story is too short and doesn't get a real ending.

I would definitely recommend this anime if you like the mix of comedy and romance. I watched all 26 episodes in one day. :) I just couldn't get enough. I always get a little sad when an anime ends. Therefore i require a good ending too balance the feeling ;)

Thanks for reading :O

Haha, I agree completely. Kaichou wa Maid-sama! was probably one of the best animes I've seen in a long time. I remember waiting every week for a new episode to come out because back then, the anime wasn't complete D:
