Hello =)

I tend to watch lots of different genres of anime..I'm a bit flaky in that respect, but my favourite's will always be those with great storylines and characters...which I seem to get attached to lol.  On that note my favourite characters ever include L (deathnote), Vegeta (DBZ), Dio (Last Exile...grrrr Delphine), Spike and Ed (both Cowboy Bebop).  I also enjoy Studio Ghibli films...especially Howl's moving Castle *love* strangely I hated the book =S

You say I've got a range of series, but when it comes to manga I really haven't read that much. 50 series, 10 of which are one-shots, and most of the others aren't much longer. :P

I can't say the premise of the series has ever appealed to me that much. My sister used to collect it, though it's now gathering dust along with several other unfinished manga series on her shelves...

I'm fairly confident that you'd like Gurren Lagann (TTGL), so I'd heavily recommend that next. If you have trouble finding a streaming source for this series, be assured to ask any of the members in the society on TSR. Have fun. :)

No worries, Jenni. It's unfortunate that your internet connection is so temperamental and not particularly quick, but I suppose you're hopefully off to university this year, so that will address the problem (or at least, you'd expect so). Still, Crunchyroll is available for you and it seems Jersey doesn't fall under the same region as the UK, so you can watch the likes of Code Geass. From glancing over your 'watched' list briefly, this could well be your first mecha series from Sunrise, although I may have overlooked one or two. The first season was very good and it received equal popularity. The second season was still enjoyable, but lacked the cohesion and substance of the first.

Anyway, if you liked Code Geass, be assured to watch another Sunrise series, preferably a Gundam (00 would be a good one to start with). Also, I'm sure everyone else in the society will agree with me by saying that you need to watch TTGL too (which would compliment Code Geass well). Of course, this is all based upon accessibility, but I'd be very surprised if you could find a streaming website that doesn't have this one. :)

I was looking through your A-P account and figured I'd select the anime I believe you should prioritise on first from your 'want to watch' list:

Air, Air Gear, Akagi, Azumanga Daioh, Baccano!, Basilisk, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, Cross Game, Darker Than Black - Kuro no Keiyakusha, Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini, Eden of the East, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Panic!, GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class, .hack//SIGN, Hayate the Combat Butler!, Hellsing OVA, Heroic Age, Interstella 5555 - The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, Jigoku Shoujo, Kare Kano, Kimi ni Todoke, Kino's Journey, Kuroshitsuji, Lovely Complex, Lucky Star, Lunar Legend Tsukihime, Monster, RahXephon, Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen, School Rumble, Seirei no Moribito, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Tokyo Godfathers, Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

Hopefully, this'll make it somewhat easier when deciding what to choose next. I chose the above from my own personal preference and from your ratings. :)
